Much recommended. Now they list the 1979 series. The discussion of technology is dead serious. IIRC the ship is powered by a stellar converter and they are using the wrong gem stones.

This series introduces names like invid, minbari, and vorlons. The minbari and the vorlons kick our ass, but the invid come to help. Don't remember much after that.

The minbari appeared in Babylon 5 and the Last Starfighter, hell bent for leather. I mean, destroying the human race. And the Vorlons are much more advanced than they are.

Surprise! The vulcans are in the show too. They decide to stick with humanity until the bitter end.

Tealc is in there too.

In addition to Star Blazers 1974, wasn't there a Robotech 1974 as well?

Tragically, I remember seeing it on TV, Ellen Cummins screaming, and Kelly McMahon punching me in the face.

I tried to scream "Too much heavy metal!"

I remember coming home from school as a kid and watching this series. Used to love it, might be time to revisit it.
