Name: Z'ozal Title: The Defiled Thing, Retching Maw, Eye of Madness, The Blasphemer/Blasphemous One, The Blight Gender: N/a Race: An aftereffect of the creation of the universe and its separation of void from substance Power Level: God Appearance: Z'ozal's has countless forms, its "true" form is virtually incomprehensible, even for gods. Its primary "god" form exists as a writhing and self-consuming gray mass of entwined, writhing tentacular appendages with eyes, mouths, and whole deformed faces forming and unforming constantly along its gelatinous flesh, often enveloping and replacing or consuming others as they form. The movement of this mass upon itself emits a noises likened to retching while the faces and mouths themselves wail in agony, rage, and madness. Many perceive it rather as a greatly uncomfortable presence than hearing the sound itself. Other forms taken are of a gargantuan, open maw filled throughout with large, sharp teeth and many tongues; the mouth is impossible in its dimensions as, viewed from the front, open, it has no perceived end but is instead a bottomless pit of teeth and tongue, but viewed from the sides it is short. Yet another form is that of a floating eye with stem attached; bloodshot and quivering, fidgeting uncomfortably and never looking in one place for more than a moment.
Z'ozal most often presents itself, however, as a gaunt or even emaciated male albino with thin lips, long fingers, and small, watery eyes, though without apparent reproductive organs and totally hairless. Its eyes flutter and flit back and forth constantly. This particular form is not a form at all however, but an illusion cast before its other form for others to perceive. An illusion of perception, one can "see" past Z'ozal's "human" form, almost like catching something out of the corner of ones eye, but there is an intense need to not look or simply not take notice planted into the psyche. When Z'ozal speaks, in any of its forms, the voice is not of a single entity but of a multitude of fearful and manic voices, some in whispers or gasping breaths, others in jittery or even shouted voices (though all are perceived to a similar level and roughly form a single voice) overlayed on the sound of retching and wailing.
Special Powers: Ability to inflict madness, disease, and other corruptions, Powerful illusion magic Realm (for gods): Sickness, disease, poison, parasites, deformation, decay, fear, madness, corruption, cowardice, cannibalism, and carnal excess, especially gluttony or hording or lusting Faction (if any): N/a Alignment: CE Mythical Role (if any): Though not the god of death, one could argue that Z'ozal is the god of the ways mortals things die. It also works to make corruptions and perversions of other things already in existence. Special Items: N/a
Biography: First post Creator or Parent: Debatable, Z'ozal may have been created, like the Aeon, by the All-Creator, or it may have come into existence when Emptuma separated first began filling, separating, or otherwise interacting with the void, or it may be something else entirely, not even it knows for certain Personality: Typically sinister and malicious in intent, Z'ozal is an intelligent schemer and may spin complicated, intricate webs for ages. It acts in accordance with self-preservation, as, physically, it is not as imposing or as strong as many of the other gods and typically treads with caution and care to avoid angering its kindred. Goal: None, though Z'ozal plots and schemes and spins webs, it is all for no greater outcome. Z'ozal does not even commit evil for its own sake or seek to make mockeries of the "good" things other gods make, it simply acts on its own whims.
