Ehm... No? Well, I guess they're relatively small... but like, I would consider it a medium sized dog... They're wild and they're a cousin of wolves... Supposedly they don't often attack humans, more like little dogs and cats and other small mammals, but they can hunt in packs and attack deer and stuff. They used to scare me when I was younger, I thought they would nom me if I went out in the dark lol.

ok, cool, thought so and was failing to see an issue.
    are they protected?
dingoes here are protected without a license to kill, unless the dogs are creating a health issue (ie packs attacking)

I'm not actually sure, but I don't think so. We don't really have problems with them here other than the occasional urban sighting. Honestly I haven't even thought of them in years since I lived on a farm. It's probably frowned upon, but I doubt they're protected by law. At least where I am.

cool, i have been forced to put down dingoes, but my family has a holding in western queensland, and when i visit we always have small children, not that i complain about putting a 44/40 round through an animals head.

Poor puppies, lol. Our horses used to keep the pack that frequented our area away from our property, I think the only time I actually saw them was once, usually you could just hear them.

yeah, same with dingoes, u can hear the shits yapping.
my 2 dogs are out there, they are attack guard dogs so remove the shits pretty quick.
its more a case that at dads place its HUGE and theres areas the kids go that arent under 24/7 adult surveilance, they ave little forts and stuff built, so wen i visit i take my rifle and remove issues, and poor puppies nothing. i made my dad a heavy crossbow on a mount due to dingoes and goanna's,
try a truck spring with 150lb wire, firing motorcycle spokes, overlooking the chook (chicken) pen.

its a case of broken eggs= loading the bow, and waiting, and as an example of the power, i fired it at a goanna, hit its throat, it went straight through, thru the tree behind that, and was found 2km (just less than a mile) beyond. :p
