Odin is awsome, but leviathan wasn't very useful. Shiva, Bahamut, Ifrit, and the Magus Sisters are the best of all time.

FF8 had some nice summons, so it's a shame that they weren't used again.
    Common summons: Bahamut and Odin
Unique summons: Eden and the knights of the round

    Bahamut was in FF1.

My favorite summon is and always will be Bahamut. The best Bahamut I ever saw was in FF 9, in the gamemovie when he destroyed the entire fleet.

Mine is knights of the Round, since it's the coolest and more powerful summon ever, (no wonder why it's key to defeat ruby and emerald weapons)

Bahamut and Ifrit are my favorites.
Anima was a power house, but once you strengthen him he is too powerful. I got him doing 99,999 just on a normal attack, but sadly you cant break that damage barrier so his overdrive did the same amount....which made it useless...but still cool to watch.

    Anima looked too retarded >_<

    I never did count KoR as a summon...it was just too...un-summonish >_<

Hmmmm.....favorite summon. *Thinks* I will have to give a 3-way tie between Anima (did awesome amount of damage) and Ifrit and Bahamut (they both looked amazingly cool).

Did anyone else hate Yojimbo in FFX? He was so usless! He did barely any damge on both his normal attack and Overdrive.

Depends how much you paid...but one hit kills fail with bosses, and the rest of his attacks suck. Plus he looked stupid.

Yeah, I used him to somewhat attack a boss (have Auron's masamune) but the "function" I gave him was as a shield to absorb deathblows.

I know what you mean, attacks with his dog???

Yojimbo was probably the least needed summon (wasn't he an optional summon to get?). I mean we probably didn't have to get him and still have won the game.

Well...I didn't get the 3 Sisters and still won the game the first time >_<

Plus...the less summons the faster you finish the game :p since you don't have fight them at the end.

True, but if you don't try to get all the summons then you're missing out on the full gaming experience of the game and that world. Plus, you won't be able to see if you can beat the game 100%, and I do agree with you I don't think that I had the 3 sisters at the end of the game but if I did I don't think I used them.

You got the sisters?, I've tried to get them but...hit a snag, do you MUST get lulu's ultimate weapon (dodge 200 lightning in a row)? I think is the only FF challenge I've ever given up on trying.

No you don't. All you have to do is get every single aeon already in the game and get the items, Blossom Crown and Flower Scepter. Then return to Remiem Temple and unlock the door at the back. Then you'll be able to get The Magus Sisters.

I defently like Bahamut, from all versions of FF. But the coolest I have played with was Anima from FFX... And thats not considering his attacks and such. But him.... He is so overpowered and so very very cool!
