I love what I saw about the new AC game. I also really loved ancient Greek history, sooo, yea
Not to go off topic, but yes, it looks very interesting. It has been rumoured a long time so if they are true, the next game after Odyssey will take place in Ancient Rome.
they should try one set in ancient Japan or China!
There is one set in China, but it’s not part of the main games. It’s what they call a 2,5d game (not exactly 2-dimensional, but not 3-dimensional either). It was called Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China
There was also one set in Russia and India. But Ubisoft said they would never go for a game set in Japan or in the 20th century. Then again they said the same about Acient Egypt, however AG hasn’t been overdone as WW2 games or Samurai/ Ninja games.
eh, it's all well and good if rumors of a new tenchu end up being true
Personally I would also like a game during Feudal Japan, but like I said, the next setting after Odyssey is very likely Ancient Rome, which would still be interesting. We have been in Rome before in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, but that was during the Renaissance.
I guess it makes sense, with Julius Caesar and all
hmm, maybe they'll have you kill Caesar
didn't you already kill Caesar in AC:Origins?
I don't think so. That was someone else I thought
so we'll need to play that other guy?
Oh, wait, nevermind, I haven't played Origin very much lol. Don't know what I was thinking
Don't judge me lol. For some reason I thought we were talking about 2
Indeed, Aya stabbed Caesar first and obviously Brutus last. If you recall Ezio’s family had like a vault with statues of Assassins. One of them being Amunet, who killed Cleopatra using a poisonous snake. This you don’t see in Origins. However you do see Aya renaming herself Amunet.
maybe they can do an AC where they show that the Fall of Rome was actually a good or neutral thing orchestrated by the Assassins to stop the Templars?
Rome fell many times like with the fire during Emperor Nero’s reign. We don’t know exactly when it will be set, so it’s too early to tell. I wish they had continued with Bayek. It seemed like a nice progression to go from Egypt to Greece and finally Rome.
I think they should've made a three-parter: one that sticks in Egypt, one that sticks in Greece, and finally culminating in one that sticks in Rome!
Well that’s not happening. Odyssey has two different characters where you can choose to play as Alexios or Kassandra.
