I wanna see full metal alchemist I'm curious about it...I could be wrong but Naruto doesn't seem like an anime for my group of age...I only still like DBZ because I grew up with it...

You must watch FMA the series is awesome and the movie kicks ass...

Naruto not for your age group? It's interesting and it's got some cool characters, I think you'd like it if you watched more episodes.

I don't know, maybe I'm presuming too much, cause I am an anime fan, but I'm not gonna call myself a diehard anime fan, so the look of it and the exaggeration of powers in the series already turns me off, though in DBZ there is also of course an exaggeration of powers too, but like I said I grew up with it...The style is also more for a younger age group I would say...

The Naruto manga is slightly "darker" than the anime. Well apart from the fact that the black and white makes it look more "evil" as it were, the many light-hearted tones of it are balanced out by the character's not so great past.

FMA was an awesome anime, it's a shame it had some queer ending, but atleast I have the still ongoing manga to read!

FMA is amazing, you defenitly have to watch at lease 1 episode, and then you'll denfently want to watch more.

FMA is quite good, it's probably one of my favorites.

I personally am not terribly fond of Naruto. I only have room for one stereotypical Jump-type shounen series fandom in my brain, and thats Bleach (which I've been obsessed with lately). Most of my friends are into Naruto, though, so I end up knowing who half of the characters are anyway.

Everyone here should check out Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohaninoheto, if they haven't already. I just finished it, and its a pretty kick-ass series. I guess technically it falls into the category of supernatural historical samurai drama, but it's COMPLETELY different from anything in that genre I've ever seen before. It has THE strongest connection to actual historical events I have ever seen in any anime (as in the clothing which one real-life character wears is clothing that that person was photographed in in real life) and it isn't remotely romanticized like stuff of that genre tends to be. Not to mention its fricking gorgeous and has some pretty neat character designs. I'm cosplaying one of the main characters (Yuuyama, in her blue hakama/purple haori outfit, for anyone familiar with the series) at a con in a couple of weeks.

I've recently come to watch an anime I've heard of for a while: Shijō Saikyō no Deshi Kenichi
otherwise known as History's Greatest Disciple Kenichi. It's not a bad anime. It's quite fun, and the characters are funny.

I've only seen the first 8 eps or so, and I still haven't been deterred. So I suggest that you try watching it, and see what you think of it aswell.

I've been told by a number of my friends that Tsubasa is really good, actually. Perhaps I shall have to look into it. . .

I liked Tsubasa, but there was just so damn much toread of it, that I forgot to continue reading it as I had some other manga's to read. I better start it again, I liked it.

    Clamp is awesome :p

nice list. I love all the Ghibli films as well. Who wouldn't? They are awesome.

You know I've never watched Clannad?
neither Anohana, lol, or Dennou Coil and Tengen Toppa... Well, but those aren't as well known as Clannad, I guess.

Btw, Shugo Chara was daaarn cute. I think I've never finished it though. Maybe I will someday.

I thoroughly enjoyed what I saw of The Legend of Korra. Or was it Kora? I don't know. It was great, I was insanely entertained by the sport that the played. If only there was an animated show focused just on the sport. Like virtual olympics.

You should watch them! :D They're really good shows! TTGL is just sheer awesomeness, while Dennou Coil and Anohana and Clannad are all sorts of fuzzy warm happy feelings with just the right amount of sad mixed in.

Utawarerumono is definitely probably tops. I give that show credit for getting me into anime as a whole. aside from that, I'd say Spice and Wolf, love Holo, Log Horizon was awesome, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Re:Zero is ok, not really for every day, Konohana Kitan was a nice little anime for a bit of comedy, imo, Clannad, what I've seen of it (really gotta get bake to it), umm, there are a few more that I have enjoyed over the years but I'm drawing a blank atm on titles
