yeah, i think they have howls at blockbuster, i'll check it out
Saw Howls, Trigun, and Saiyuki. Loved all of them. Especially Saiyuki:banana:
Just saw the latest Bleach. It's soooo cool!!!
I'm watching it on US tv, so I'm not terribly far along. Episode 20 is on tonight, I believe. I enjoy it, though.
Full download available on bleachflame.com (can I post this here? It's legal) dub and sub upto eps. 114
It might be legal where you are, but its been liscensed for distribution in the US, so I can bet you its not here. The only liscensed stuff I'll download is stuff that has a real cock-up dub that won't likely be released to dvd with a decent sub and without the ridiculous edits some companies make *cough4kidscough*. I'll just stick with Adult Swim, for now. Thanks though!
True, have too say I think the only thing licensed in South Africa is Dragonball, Yo-gi-o? and Pokemon. Urrrgh!
I'm a pirate...so it doesn't matter to me
Plus...downloading like that usually helps that area of the economy.
Anyway, recently been reading (will watch soon) Air Gear. It is so awesome. I want their clothes O_O
Right...so I just finished the last ep of Yu Yu Hakusho (finally...I was being so lazy). It's a really cool anime.
Kind of like DBZ, but a lot better.
I've recently started watching Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. It seems pretty interesting, although I REALLY need to read up on the history of the Meiji period, even with all of the historical information the sub group adds.
Jin-Ron: The wolf Brigade= awesome!
Jin-Roh was cool. Kind of slow at times but the whole story makes up for it. The best part was when the wolf brigade had the revolutionaries cornered in the sewer and were closing in. All the red eyes moving in.......
i loved the end
"And the wolfy gobbled up little red ridding hood"
Yeah that was a good ending. Nice and bleak.
just got Howls Moving Castle and Spirted Away at the libary. Hopefully they're good...
Howls is great fun, Spirited Away was also fun.
You've got anime in your library? That is so cool!
If anyhting is going to show up in a library, Miyazaki is most likely. We've got a bunch of stuff in our library back home in Ohio, but it was also part of one of the ten best library systems in the country for the population base it serves for a while, so it is a particularly good library..
I got some anime in the library. Although its in english dub, and I hate that.
They also have some manga's but they only have a few of the initial volumes, and sometimes they are broken up.
Here people go too the bookshops and insist on buying animie (not typo, and yea they mean Manga)
My library back home barely has any vhs stuff, so anything they have that isn't, like, 4kids crap has the original Japanese on it because its a dvd (I don't know about releases in Britain but usually US releases have Japanese with subtitles, and usually accurate subtitles rather than dubtitles). They've got an interesting selection of manga, there is some strange (read: obscure) stuff in their collection.
By "animie" do you mean, like, pronunciation? We get some people here who pronounce it that way, but usually they are people who have NO CLUE what they are talking about.
Separate names with a comma.
