True, maybe it's not a good idea. Would be great if I could get away with it though. . . Sigh . .

Hey Khamul, have you started Shadow Rising yet? I would of started it by now, but I promised my mom I wouldn't buy it, that way she can get me it for christmas. So I had to put a halt to my WoT reading. *thumbs down*

Yea, I know. The fact that it ends so suddenly always seems to find a way to leave me wanting more. :D

(Right now, I can't really get to the mall, so I still haven't started on book 5!)

You already finished book 4? Killer. (Man your a fast reader.) Anyway how was it?

I don't mind getting books off of amazon, just sometimes I find it easier to drive downtown and get it. Considering I live in a relatively small city (only one book store), in most cases its almost easier to go and get it rather than wait for it to be deliveried.

    - Robert Jordan is a pseudonym for James Oliver Rigney, Jr.

my favourite book? hmm, hard to say. Probably Eye of the World or The Great Hunt. But their is really good stuff in ALL the books. I prefer the earlier books in the series to the later ones. (especially book 9 abd 10) not a lot is getting resolved quickly here people. Book 7 is really good. and you will wet yourself with excitement when you read the last few chapters of book 9!!!!! thats all i'm going to say.

has anyone here read up to book ten yet? I have, and i wnated to know what others thought. I'm not spoiling anything here, but damn the last few books have been slow moving! all the action in book 10 occurs over one or two days! I'm not saying that there isn't any important stuff, or no action, or that new things aren't revealed. but in my opinion it's getting too much like a soap.

I like it, draws me in more than I expected. So far I am roughly 400 pages into it. I like the descriptions of the Fades and Trollocs. I expect to finish it soon with the break from school and all.

One thing that I don't like so well is the dynamic with the women. It's hard to envision someone like Tam being strong when there is a wisdom running around slapping people at will. :(

Yeah, I either started ignoring it or started accepting it. Can't remember.
