BALROG'S FLAMEWHIP RULLZZZZZZ!
and legolas's knifes too...
I'm a fan of the book, although I think they did a wonderful job bringing to life all the weaponry of Middle Earth and Numenor.
I guess I'd have to say Andruil. 100's of years old, passed from heir to heir (and yes there were a couple of women in there).
Numenoreans were much taller than the other men of ME, so the sword would have been very long. The runes and power that was sung into it would have made it majestic indeed.
Now I'm starting to give a dissertation on ancient Elvish. lol
Andruil Andruil Andruil
hey, there's one really cool weapon that no one mentionned... the witchking of Angmar's mace/flail/morningstar/whatever it is
I found a good trick to make balrog's flame whip: you mix and attach orange and white christmas light cords together! you can add some tough rope in the middle for extra strenght, and make the handle with a wooden shaft covered with gold, red and yellow wool. it makes you a hot, shiny, flame whip!
How about some heavy guage rope dipped in gasoline? Of course you could only use it once...
And of course...kids, don't try this at home!!!
Or better yet: you cover the rope with a fire-proof material, than spread napalm on it! the rope won't burn, and the napalm will burn slowly, giving an orange glow!
I like fire. So shiney, warm and painful. I love you fire.
Another cool weapon is the uruk crossbow, deadly, evil looking, and powerful.
yup... take a crowssbow, chip the wood a little to round it, and tint it ebony, with a glossy varnish. change the rope so it look old and used, and voila! an orc crossbow!
Gil-Galads Spear Aeglos I just think the design is awesome Plus GG is one of my favourite characters.
I'm with the Byzantine Warrior on this one...Gil-Galad's Aeglos is the one thing I want above all else. Everyone who sees it at the traveling LoTR exhibition always claims how stunning it is and I'll have my chance in October this year at the Indiana State Museum.
glamdring, every time. I was lucky enough to get it for christmas last year from my other half, it now has pride of place on my wall
I agree with your first post Vazkoloth -- I like the EWS.
I'd Have To Go With Baramer's Sword. Just Because Baramer Is The best Warrior In The Trilidy.
I'd Have To Go With Faramor's Sword. Just Because Faramor Is The best Warrior In The Trilidy.
Do you mean Boromir and Faramir?
hey learn to spell first of all.. and its BOROMIR.. and yes boromir is the coolest lotr char.. does a lightsaber count as a sword? if it does obi wan's LS is the best
No, a lightsaber in a LOTR thread does not count. Please stay on topic.
