The topic says it all... I don't really have a favourite book, but you guys might have favourite books.
My favorite book of all time is a title I can't even remember! When I was in 1st and 2nd grade, I read this one book over and over again. It was about a boy and his family who found this border collie wandering around on the street I think. The dog turns out to be extremely intelligent, and over time, she morphs permanently into a human. The border-collie-turned-human ends up having a strong sibling relationship with her "brother".
When I was a teen it was The Catcher In the Rye. I don't think I would like it much now since that part of my life is over with.
I'm tempted by App's choice, but I'll go with 'Les Miserables'. At least for today...tomorrow it might be different .
My favourite book of all time is actually a trilogy - The Bitterbynde Trilogy by Cecelia Dart Thornton. Other books that stood out for me are Terry Brooks Elfstones, Terry Brooks Anthrax, Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon, The Dark Elf Trilogy by RA Salvatore and of course The Hobbit.
Oh... thats a difficult one... hehe... actually I din't think I have a favorite book but a serie it would be the Belgarath-serie by David Eddings... It is because of that universe David Eddings has created. There is no elves or orcs, only human i different countries. You can say it in this way: in fact I think that it is much like our world: the west against the east... The heroes are funny normal people that doubt on themselves and gets angry at each other...
God I could never get into any Edding books, hats off to you for picking one of his characters as your favourite - hey, there's no hats off smiley!
Mine's Gone With the Wind, with Pride and Prejudice a close second. I love them both, and have read each so many times.
I can't choose. I CAN'T CHOOSE!! It'd be something from Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, or Richard Dawkins, probably.
The Light Bearer - Donna Gillespie Pompeii - Robert Harris ASOIAF - GRR Martin Shadow of the Wind - Carlos Ruiz Záfon I can hardly choose from these books, so I name them all.
Sword in the Storm - David Gemmell, this was my introduction to fantasy and I've read it multiple times and I love it more every time.
