    Hi everyone, I'm Lodriraj

I'm still on the road to discovery in Fantasy reading, enjoying alternate worlds and imaginative fiction. I have a TBR list a mile long but thought I would join a forum so I can double it.

I couldn't afford to read every great book ever written. Thank god for the library! I only buy the ones I want to read over and over.

Exactly the same for me. Though there are some books I buy even when I'm not too sure because the English libraries around here are pretty small, so when I'm in the UK I stock up on a few books.

I'm from the same country as Julie (aka Belgium).

I come over to the UK (t' North) three or four times a year to visit family, and then it's Waterstones galore! (and Games-Workshop)

They don't have those or an equivalent in Belgium? At least it's not that far, and you have great chocolate.

I think there's one shop in Brussels, but we've never been.

We not only get good chocolate; we get "chocolateries" (chocolate shops/houses, invented by the English btw) and great beer. And it's the country that spent the longest without a government. heh

Joyous salutations Lodriraj! Welcome to TFF, your interest in history is interesting as history is interesting. I too am eager to hear about this history, I'm not too worldly despite being on such a variety filled forum.

I agree...I am interested in learning this history of a country without a government. How interesting...I must say, I like the idea. ;)

Well, starting in 2010, Belgium had no government for over 500 days. The last prime minister resigned 3 times, then we had no government, and now we have a gay italian PM (although he's better than the flemish one).

I wonder what it would take to get David Cameron to resign.
