this one is made in the style of a LWK. Even with very nice etching on the blade. No gold inlay, but we all know that doing that would be expensive with a custom smith. And I even like the scabbard.

ah yea.. i saw this ealier today.. i'm impressed.. very nice etching.
Not quite long enough to be the LWK, but still pretty nice, and pretty close to being there. The scabbard i don't like all the much.. the coloration doesnt quite suite the blade.. but.. it is a very nice set.

Less impressive than the other stuff he's made IMHO.

Care to elaborate? It is a dagger after all.

It just doesn't look so hot. I think the scabbard looks terrible, and the handle color and texture don't look right. The etching on the blade looks pretty intricate and well done, I will give you that. But like I said before, this is all just IMHO.

I agree NateDogg, they're nicely detailed but they just don't grab me like his previous LOTR-inspired stuff has. I think the too-straight handle ruins the flowing lines.

I wouldn't say no to a pair, but they're not as cool as his previous items.

Yes, Yes. I think that the curve in the handle is a must. Good point Mububban.

If the handle were a darker color it would be sweet, and little bit of handle curve would be nice too, but I like it.

The blade is to some people's tastes and not to others. It doesnt particularly do it for me, but that dont mean I dont see the skill and quality craftsmanship gone into the piece.

Hi I agree with all you guys on this one. I hate it and am not proud of it. I really want to take it outa the site altogether. The etching is ok but without the curved grip and all it looses the flow. And the scabbard was done by my brother before he quit making scabbards for me it is awfull, especially the color. I don't really pride myself on doing Lotr stuff unless I can do it up mint with an Odin flair and this ain't it! Really sorry about this one.

Well, I like it. I love Bowie knives of the old west, this seems to be a form of crossbreed.
