I'm new here so I'm still trying to figure the site out. I'm a filmmaker who's made several fantasy films and some people had welcome me on to this site and asked if they could see some of my work. I can't reply to them! Whenever I try to I'm always told a moderator has to approve of my replies first, but i never receive approval. nor can i post a message into the HELP section of this forum for advice.

any suggestions, guys? this is a really cool site and i'd love to talk fantasy, but at some point forget it i'll just move on to another forum, right?

Well you have managed to post a second post. Are you still blocked from posting anywhere else than here?

Have you tried sending a PM to a moderator?

Don't give up hope, as you can probably see that we're interested in your stuff and would not like to lose you.

Maybe if your post has links and you are a new member, the post has to be approved first by a moderator, so that advertising and spamming can be averted? Maybe try and reply to your thread without any link just to check.

And that's why it apeared on the forum without any problems. The other posts didn't - maybe because they contained some links ;>

Others have managed to post links in their first few posts in different places without mods' approval. And all spambots post a link and they're clearly not approved.

Maybe the spambots have a way to overpass that and post the links anyway. I think the best way to test that is for roger to try and reply to his welcome thread without posting any links.

sure thing. we do all sorts of movies, in many genres, but we have a soft spot for fantasy. we did one called THE NEW WORLD, about a fairy who yearns to leave her world behind in favor of ours, but what must she give up in order to do so? also A GOBLIN'S TALE, about a goblin who comes to life from the pages of a storybook, forever changing the life of a young girl (the owner of the book). just fun short films for fans of the genre.
