will thoes swords be a limited 5000 pices.
I'm very sure Herugrim, Théoden's sword, won't be.
As for Boromir's sword, there was talk early on about it being limited, but I doubt it will be. There is a chance, though.
I agree...and since there isn't any official news...I guess we will just have to wait and see...
i doubt either will be limited
I doubt either would be limited, especially Boromir's. There is no special meaning behind that sword, neither in the book nor the movie.
i wish they would be, although they wont, because i am getting both of them. I already have Herugrim on preorder and am waiting for Boromir's to come out.
hmm...i noticed that the scabbard for Herugrim is quite diffrent from all the other scabbards...it will still be made right?
can't wait to get Boromir's sword...that thing looks like a beast
EDIT: just thought of something...
how are they gonna display Herugrim??
i know usually they make a plaque and just hang the sword from the crossbar...but this sword has no crossbar...?
I heard somewhere that there was going to be a wall plaque, I'm just not sure how it will be hung. Maybe it will be like the Uruk hai Scimitar.
that'll work i guess... i dont think it will look as good Horizontal tho IMHO
i hope they make the scabbard tho...no sword is complete without a scabbard
They will probibly not be LE maybe Boromir's at most. I think the Herigrum will be regular wall mount with the rohan sign in the back. Uc thinks about scabbards last.
Well, if anything, i would hope that Herugrim is LE, but thats just me.
They had that exact same problem with UC1298 and UC1309, Hadhafang and Uruk-Hai Scimitar. Both had different solutions, horizontal on pedestal and horizontal on wall. UC1296 (Narsil Shards) was probably the hardest solution of all. I mean, there are probably several people who would have liked it better if the shards were not permanently mounted. Don't worry, I'm sure they won't permanently mount Herugrim. It may also end up diagonal like UC1371-Strider's Lothlorien Knife, but that would be an awkward display mount.
I think that there is enough of a crossguard on Herugrim that it can be hung vertically, like the other swords.
Yes I agree with you. There is still a hilt that will support the sword. And because most of them are wall mount I think it will be too.
They will have to come up with something clever... because I've allready planned where the swords are going on my wall... And all I need is sting to center the group out... but Im getting Anduril first...
