so will it be the US, China, or will somebody just suprise the world?
The people's southwestern republic of New Burdanistan.Oh come on,with all the doping and the stuff the athletes are taking it's not so much of a real competition anymore...
well I'd still like to see you guys give your forcast
Except that it is. If everyone takes enchancement drugs it still puts them back on the same level lol
lol well it's going to be either the US or China at this point, since the next nearest competitor at this point has less than half the medals of the big two. China's killing us in gold count though
well the objective, from what I've heard, is to get the most medals period...gold is nice but if you got the most you win...
Standard way of medal table ranking are going according to the no of gold medals won. See the tv news and you'll know... :S
Rankings are probably done by No. of Golds. If there is a draw there, then the No. of Silvers, then if there is a draw there then No. of Bronze, etc.
Well, from what I've seen in the past, that's exactly the case.
Edit: Sorry, nvr see the poll question. Hope Ray don't see this b4 it got edited. :S
Imo it should look like this
1 gold = 1 point
1 silver = .5 points
1 bronze = .25 points
Imo it shouldn't be like the above post.
you're just mad that I thought of it...
And it should be counted as:
Either U.S. or China, and China is in the lead last time I checked so China has my vote, although US is winning more Golds.
China, considering they are indeed in the lead qt this moment.
China are down by 5 medals in total but got quite a few more golds at this moment.
China's now down by 7.
and america still pwns.
America and the rest of the world got slapped down in the 100m. Bolt just killed that race. Was actually some crazy skills there.
That guy is amazing. I'm still suprised Gay didn't make it...
What about the women's gymnastics though. The US took 1st and 2nd in the all-around
