    Nope, sorry.

Those are the cheepest versions, the good ones are two three times that, and you forget the gross per capita, what's cheap to you is not cheap to me.

What are the cheapest ones? the 12-13 euro ones? And the good ones are three times that price which would make it 39 euro. Which is way above a good blu-ray movie. The best ones are about 40 euro, not so different imo...

That's also the price of a cheepest blue-ray...I named all the cheep ones...so the better blue-rays would be two times that.

Either way, Blu-ray is a better deal in terms of quality for the pricing.

I just took a look at the sales' list. Most expensive blu-ray film was about 35 euro, and that was just one (close encounters of the third kind) and yes except that there's a variety of prices between 15-20-30 euro of blu-ray dvd's. So the best are surely not above 30 euro here (and I think the same counts for the UK and other countries in the EU. So blu-ray in general isn't that expensive. You even have casual special editions close to the price of 30 euro with loads of extra's that a blu-ray version also has included.

No I'm talking about one country where the prices are different, this doesn't have anything to do with the EU...

Of course HDDVDs are cheaper. They're inferior. Wanna buy an 8-track player? 8 track tapes are like 25 cents at a flea market. Does this mean it's better?

I never said HD was better, don't twist my words, I'm just saying BR isn't that much better that I would go and spend double on the bloody thing.
