Nice! I've got the complete Sherlock Holmes collection.
Oh awsome! I reakon like a cross genre of horror and crime/mystery in a fantasy setting would be sweet as. Hmm i should look into that.
When I'm not reading fantasy I usually read crime novels such as the Inspector Rebus series by Ian Rankin, or old Isaac Asimov and Ray Bradbury stories. I am also a massive fan of Sherlock Holmes, and have been for many long years.
Ain't this sweet - Holmes' fans are finding each other!
It's not impossible, m'dear, merely improbable.
Elementary, my dear Symmetry.
Nothing. Its hard enough to find time to read as much as I do. Other than the newspaper or some select magzines, its fantasy books or nothing for me.
Why, where does your time go?
Work, work, more work, too many animals, kids, and too much time here. If Im going to spare the time to do it, I want to make sure I will enjoy it. So fantasy it is. I would like to read other things, but I'll have to wait till my schedule free's up a little. Oh retirement where art thou?
Too bad.. :/
I find myself in a similar position.
I have read the odd biography of someone who interests me, non-fantasy work by someone else whos work I already know from somewhere or if the subject matter interests me, but mostly its fantasy.
Too bad people can't find enough time to read! It's something that really should be thought of... Like, instead of fiesta, a fiesta for people who likes to read. Readesta! We should ask Obama.
Oi, too many types of other things to count. Horror, drama, crime fiction, true crime, historical fiction, real history, anything that catches my interest... I'm always reading something, and more often than not it's fantasy, but I'll read anything that seems like it has an interesting premise.
Lol, nothing, It's all I ever read
Horror..though lately it's been only fantasy.
When not reading fantasy I always seem to love romance <3
Science Fiction...seriously, that's about as far as I get away from fantasy.
Ocassionally I will read a more, erm, 'realistic' fiction. I don't ever read non-fiction. I just can't enjoy it.
Why, you never read history books or anything?
I guess it would be realistic fiction mostly, some historical as well. I'm really enjoying the work of Jane Austen as well as a few others.
