Some sf, history, military history, lit, mythology.

Sf and fantasy are often marketed together because there's a 90% overlap in readership, and a substantial number of writers write both.

I like biografies or autobiografies. Right now I'm reading about Aletta Jacobs, a dutch feminist from around 1900. It's very interesing but a bit hard to read. But I read more fantasy.

I read a lot of historical fiction, as much or more than fantasy of late. Most of it is old stuff though, ancient Greece, some stuff written about Rome, Conn Iggulden's Genghis series is great.

I'll read mostly romance, with some classics, thriller, mysteries and horror tossed in too. I like Dan Brown's book a lot. Whatever catches my eye.
I started a book today written by Barbaro's jockey. I'm sure it'll be interesting, but extremely sad. :(

I read a lot of Murakami and Atwood - Margaret Atwood being my all time fav. author. I haven't had a lot of time to read lately, but I enjoy most fiction to be honest.

Besides fantasy I like to read Matthew Reilly when I'm looking for some fast-paced action, and also Tom Clancy a high-stakes political thriller.

Im familiar with Mises but I havent read much of his writings.

Military History is very broad obviously.. Off the top of my head Black Hawk Down (Bowden), PAtton: A genius for war (D'este), and 'Battle for the Casbah' are some favorites.

Well, when not reading fantasy I mostly read mysteries and thrillers and other crime-based books. But every now and then I read one of those unimportant, stumble-upon-books. But I never, ever read romace. Yuk.
