    i7 is amazing it's true.
    I don't use my laptop for gaming, more for coding and image-editing, so i7 is the best for that.

    lol for image-editing you were better off with amd buldozer (way cheaper, and way powerful if you know a thing or two from overclocking )

    Can't upgrade the graphics card, or so they say. It's actually much much faster on my laptop than the computer I mentioned the specs of below.

    I noticed that afterwards.
    It's video editing and gameplay that's not happy. I prefer Intel processors and ATI graphics cards (same company as AMD)

    AMD Phenom II x4 965 Processor - 3.40 GHZ
    8.0 GB of RAM (hope to add some more (+8.0 GB) when I get some stuff paid for in the next couple months)
    ATI Radeon 6950 - the 2 GB RAM graphics card, PCIe
    2 TB data storage (Western Digital 1 TB internal HDs x2), configured into RAID array

    I play games, do video editing, graphics design and editing, and play on the internet with it. Laptop is not nearly as strong as this machine, and I use the laptop for draft writing for my novels.

    Hmmm.

    So this PC is new. It has:

    - MSI mini-ITX B250 1156LGA motherboard;
    - Intel i3 6100T CPU;
    - ASUS GTX 1050 GFX card;
    - 8 gig DDR 4 RAM (2x4);
    - 256 Samsung 850 PRO SATA SSD;
    - 1 TB HDD (can't remember what kind);
    - In a Fractal Design Node 202 case.

    It currently drives my TV. The case is about as big as an olde-time VCR player, which suits me :)
