Mine would have to be the Dark Angels. I love their backstory and colour scheme.
I like the Blood Angels. For the history and back story (all the way to the Heresy), special characters and the colour scheme. Heroes with a deadly flaw; they can go into a bloodthirsty mental rage lol.
Blood Angels; always been my favourite. They were my first army, and still my main. Ever since I started WH40k, and started to read up on the races and history, I knew I was going to go with them. BA = Blood Angels = Bad Ass; very fitting.
A close favourite of mine are also the Space Wolves. Awesome chapters, who's insanity rivals that of the BA, and once you read the Space Wolf books you'll really take a liking to them. Lion El'Jonson can shove it. FOR RUSS! FOR THE WOLFTIME!
Black Templars are also a chapter I like and the army choice of one of my best friends. In 2v2's we own everything in sight lol. Special Note for Salamanders aswell who have a very cool history.
I would say Sons of Horus, but since I assume Traitor Legions won't count I state SW!
No your right. I really took a liking to the Luna Wolves after I read Horus Rising. I was surprised that the bad guys could just be so badass and awesome as they were. Abaddon was funny!!
They are Space Marines, or rather were, so I think they should count, since it would be in context if you said "before they defected" or something.
If you choose a traitor legion, you can only go by information of them BEFORE the heresy.
Actually, based on this I'm gonna have to change it from Dark Angels to The Thousand Son's of Ahriman.
Thousand Sons just seem like the traitor version of the DA. They're also always weeping on about the Space Wolves lol
blood angles, ultramarines, imperial fists in that order.. boring but i dont care.
No no, I can understand BA and Imperial Fists, but Ultramarines? They are the epitome of boring and there's barely anything to them. What's so fascinating about them?
didn't we eat the Ultramarines?
*nid player *
You tried to, but they buffed up again and became really good at killing you back. *looks at the Tyranid hunters*
Raven Guard, easy choice. Corax is by far the most amazing primarch to me. His story is both haunting and sad.
Following that I would say White Scars and Dark Angels.
Yea Corax is a pretty cool Primarch. I liked the fact that he made the Raven Guard functional even when he was not present. Most other legions were at a lost when they lacked their Primarch or he was not around.
Chaos Nurgle Marines, whatever chapter they are (I don't play, just paint)....
That would be the Death Guard. Very cool before they turned to Nurgle. Nurgle is the last of the 4 Chaos Gods I would ever give into lol
I like Nurgle - at least he has a sense of humour.
Well from what I've read in the books, he is actually quite funny. Unfortunately he punctuates his humour with offputting things like pus and phlegm and stuff like that lol
Yeah, that makes him even funnier! Wouldn't invite him to dinner, though...
Wouldn't invite him to much for that matter. I think communication through sound is enough lol
Aww, I think he'd be fun to have around, even if you did end up a rotting ball of pus...
