    hmm a fav? hard to say. I have many upon many.
    I dont want to list them either..
    If I had to pick ONE.. it would be a movie that I could watch over and over and over without a stop.
    Does it have to be fantasy?
    I think Top Gun is a movie I could watch over and over.. or the Crow.
    As for fantasy.. hmmm... maybe 'The flight of dragons' Because it's animated and easy to watch.
    I love many many more and I do not have a favourite but for what it's worth, there is my post.

    Well I guess I have to go with Into The Wild, of course Star Wars. From more recent one I really liked Ex Machina

    1. Alien {the first one, and only the first one}
    2.
    Fight Club {loved the book, movie was a good adaption}
    3. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil {the book is a bit better, but still a great movie}
    4. Empire of the Sun {probably my favorite WWII film}
    5. Blade Runner {one of the few times a movie was better than the book}
    6. The Princess Bride {funny, in a warm and genuine way. classic fantasy movie}

    Ex Machina, Fight Club, Princess Bride, all ×2.

    I'm surprised you like the Princess Bride, though. I mean, she doesn't get raped or anything! Its softcore!

    I really should watch this movie again. such a great movie.

    if I had to pick a favorite movie it would probably be Eastern Promises. or maybe the Bourne movies, (the first three, not the newest one which I didn't care for). or the Fellowship of the Ring. or maybe the animated Hobbit film. agh too many to choose from.

    My all-time favorite that I could watch over and over again and never tire of is ultimately "Clue" :cool:

    1) Lord of the Rings trilogy
    2) Akira
    3) Dark City
    4) The 13th Warrior
    5) Tombstone

    It's impossible to pick just 1 and even picking these 5 was tough and if you asked me again in a week it may well be different.

    I CAN'T PICK JUST ONE

    Not only that but my tastes and desires shift. Sometimes fantasy is all I want and then it might be Lord of the Rings, Dark Crystal, Willow - or maybe I want sci-fi - or animation - or live action etc....

    Outlander was cool, but it had Jack Huston in it and I hate that guy.

    Oh wow...sooo hard to pick. I can't choose a favourite though. Some titles I enjoyed from different genres:
    Fantasy: LoTR trilogy, The Last Unicorn, Enchanted (one hilarious almost-parody of fairy tale tropes with a modern twist!)
    Sci Fi: Source Code, Avatar, Inception
    Action/Adventure: The Italian Job - something for everyone in that film
    Best date-night, mindless movie my hubby and I ever went to see was "Fool's Gold". We weren't expecting anything from it but it turned out to be very entertaining.

    I saw "Once Upon a Time In the West" for the third (or was it fifth?) time. The music is getting better and better <3

    It was actually an accident, my net stopped working for, like, 3 hours @3 AM, and I couldn't sleep...so I remembered couple old , classic movies a friend gave me in 2010 (!) to "educate myself" [IMG]

    I am not even going to lie I am a little surprised not even a single person referenced either one of these movies.

    I would have to say my favorite movie or all time would have to be an equal tie between Twister and Independence Day. Every time those movies come on I immediately stop and finish watching them.

    I liked Twister, but I wouldn't really say it's my favorite movie. I'll watch it if it's on tv but I don't think I'd ever buy it.

    heck the last movie I got was Rush as a yule gift

    They were very integral parts of my childhood.
