I heard that in one of the Harry Potter movies there's a scene in which there are a lot of pictures of famous wizards; One of which is Gandalf.
You mean they actually put a picture of Gandalf in Harry Potter? Huh, interesting. (I've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies, so I wouldn't know)
No. That's what I heard. Since I haven't seen them either, I wouldn't know and that's why I was asking some of you.
I went to see ROTK with all of my friends and my best friend who has read the books way more then me mad a bet with me and a nether friend that in when the name came up he would say * what this is not Harry potter!!* it was great a lot of ppl just creaked up! it was great and my friend made 4 bucks doing it!! but so many ppl have said to me that movie is great and yet they can not name one person in it!!!!!
That's what my Grandmother said. "Yes son the movie was good but we liked Harry Potter much better. Why? Well Harry Potter had a real ending." And then a few months later... "Hi son. There's a new movie called "The Ring" out. Is that the new Lord of the Rings film?"
LOL... My grandma said that exact same thing about "The Ring" movie. It must be a grandparent thing...
another thing is that when people make these huge outbursts of laughter when gimli does his comic relief thing...
Yeah, Gimli just isn't funny but. I took my dad to see FOTR when it came out, and when it ended he goes "well, now what ? That was a stupid ending, they didn't even destroy it" even though he had already been told it has two more parts. Some people.....
when me and a friend seen rotk on opening day with my mom and his mom they were both saying who is the hot tall elve. she said that is the only reason she watch the whole movie.
Most of the n00biest things I've heard about LotR are said by myself... "Where did Bilbo go? Did he die?" "Who was Boromir again...?"
Some days ago I heard somebody saying that Harry Potter was better than LotR. Ts... That was unbelievable, man!
Once this person told me that they liked how Legolas had twin daggers and I said that he did not and only had one long knife in the books.
i hate it whenever people add the word, "***" into people's names -- Frodo Faggins, Fagagorn, Fagwise Gamgee, Legofag. I've heard all of those from jock dudes back east.
The storyline of LOTR is better than Harry Potter. But, IMO, the movies are opposite. The HP movies are more accurate to the books than LOTR. That was probably because they had significant input from the author as opposed to LOTR. Tolkien, as far as I know, had no direct input on the movies. I think he died right before they came out, which seems kinda ironic. Everything was taken from books and changed by Jackson in order to make it movie-worthy.
