I'm just stuffing around and tying up some loose ends before heading off to shimmering island. Zidane is on level 57 with Vivi and Steiner close by. Unfortunately, I've been a bit slack with the others. Will it be cruicial to train the others alittle more before moving on? Oh, and I haven't come across anything to equip to learn auto-life. Help?

it's been a while since I've played but youmight want to be a wee bit higher in levels. No the other party members don't matter,if I remember correctly, but I'm probably wrong.

No there isn't any time limit in FF9, the first time I played it I finished it in 60 hours XD I finished it in about 20 hours after that (it's been 3 years since I last played FF9 XD)

Fear not, Adina, my Zidane was at Level 47 (I kid you not) when I went to Shimmering Island, and yet I managed to fry all those enemies, like Zidane said, it all depends on your battle strategies.

Yeah I think I just like the idea of being unbeatable, if you know what I mean.

How nice it would be to stroll into battle on level ninety with your ememies at a mere 65. hehe

Well, it's not gonna be that easy in some battles. The Yans are terribly hard to beat...-shudders-

    (They're around Lvl 65-70, btw)

Oh, that's alright. I'm lvl 65 now so it shouldn't be too hard. The Yans?

Yeah, the Yans. You find them somewhere on some leetle island (forgot which one but you can't land there until in Disc 4) and they're REALLY hard to beat, they can take a character out in one single hit and they can blow away characters too. Some people with really high levels have lots of trouble beating them, and there're lots of online guidebooks based purely on the Yans.

They look pretty innocuous, but BEWARE.

Anything can happen in FFIX, in fact you can even see Chocobos changing colour, which is why I love the game XD

Yeah I heard you can get one that flies as well?

And I also heard something about a boulder. If you use the flying chocobo, you have to fight a boulder or something and it's apparently really hard. I must say though, I have no idea of this persons ff abilities.

Yeah, you can get a flying one (a Gold Chocobo) and from there you get to Chocobo's Air Garden, the boulder you were talking about actually lives there and it's called Ozma, it's this huge Lvl-99 contraption which resembles a planet, and it's the toughest boss in the game, even tougher than Necron or the Yans X3

God, I always thought I suffered from memory loss XD

So pretty much in order to fight Ozma (if you do, do you get anything out of it if u win?) you have to play the little chocobo games?
