I wish you had made this a poll, but oh well.

I'll have to go with Final Fantasy. While I've played Zelda longer, like Yuan, I've also replayed FF games many more times than Zelda games. So I think that indicates which one I like better pretty clearly. :)

Personally prefer the FF games. I've played them so much more than the Zelda series and enjoyed them more.

It doesn't help that all Zelda games barring OoT are shit. TP comes closest, but OoT is still better.

Castlevania's cool and all, but it doesn't trump FF for me.

I don't like the FF games. I just can't get into them.

Zelda for me, but I'm sure no one thought I would chose otherwise.

I actually don't remember. Whichever one was new about 4-5 years ago. I just don't like that style of game.

I can't get into that type of game. It's just not my thing. The second Zelda game was in a similar format and I don't like that game either.

Turn based is awesome, its just FF is kinda straight forward, I like Zelda because I'm slightly a bigger fan of action. I am REALLY big on action rpgs though. PSO is my baby.

    Straight foward? How so?

Plus FF isn't really turn based, it's time based (ATB guages). It was initially turn based, but quickly moved onto time based (with slight turn basing depending on instruction input speed) and now it's completely time based (FF12).

well I don't know. FF seems kinda...well all the games are good but so many are similar. not in a bad way but still, I just liked the large changes in the game play of zelda over time. I have played 12 too. But I mean the older ones. I only actually own 1-6. Although they are fun they just don't have giant game play twists, like how Zelda went from time travel, to mask transformation, to sea travel, and now dark world stuff. What does bother me about Nintendo is that they seem to follow a formula.....Zelda has a dark world...AND SO DOES METROID PRIME!

FF is just that type of RPG genre that cannot change in the way you describe Zeda's. It uses other aspects like it's storyline and battle system more diversly to provide a new experience. Wheras Zelda is pretty much similar in these aspects. Ok I'll give you the fact that on the Wii you gotta do some dodgy wanking motion to spin attack :p

FF is cool, yet I would say Chrono Trigger was better than all the FF games...still for some reason I just can't stand the first final fantasy. It just is annoying. All the others are good. Also you play all wii games like you are wanking off. Thats what makes them so fun!
