    so i am say

but it's the first time a read book in english
and i want you say by wich i must start

I recommend the Icewind Dale trilogy first. I think the first book is called 'The Crystal Shard'

Well I found "The Legacy of the drow" to be a good place. It's where I began in the series.

I suggest you start with the dark elf trilogy because it explains why Drizzt is on the surface in the firat place, and then read the Icewind dale trilogy.

The first book I read was spellfire, then the Harpers. But you definately need to read the Drizzt books in chronological order.

Well if you think about it the Cleric's Quitet is also a part of that so 22 books, becasue without that there would be no Ivan and Pikel.

True that, true that. They and Cadderly are bascially the only characters mentioned from that in all the other books though.

The Harpers are good to begin with too, you can read them in any order (almost) as they are stand alone novels.
