Well, that's what I'm afraid of. They did know how the story arc of the main characters' ended, so it will probably, at least, end up the same. How we get to their ending will be different I'm sure. The ending was very disappointing. Really, it felt like a punch in the gut, however that's because it was rushed, so a lot didn't make sense. It often felt forced, so their journey in the books will make a lot more sense, I think. There's a twist for example with Dany. I won't say what it is. And it just didn't fit with her character, because they didn't gradually built it up. So it was like they jumped from A to Z, not knowing really what happened in between. There's just context missing and there's a lot that just felt pointless and anticlimactic because there was no buildup and again, it just didn't make sense.
