Well, we all know about this one. When traveling to the US, you have to hand over credit card information, they take two fingerprints and a photo is made.... I could be me, but this is more like KGB style that that of what they call the free world. What happened to privacy? Airline companies are forced to hand over personal information of all pasengers before departure. If not, they are refused their landing rights. Simple as that.

What is this? Has America gone paranoid after 9/11 or under Bush? And don't they know that this investment and robbing of privacy is in vain? Be realistic. Terrorists are way smarter then to walk into this trap. And don't even mention creative. It is very unlikely that Al Qaeda ever planned a second airplane attack. They will find other ways in the least expected way.

Oh, and then there is the disrespect of the US for other nations. How could you ever call yourself an ally if your citizens aren't even trusted? This is not a solution, this is insanity! America crossed a border here, and not by a little.

We have captured hundreds of americans and visitors to america who have either directly supported Al Qaeda or donated money to terrorist causes. Some of them were born citizens and some were naturalized but the point is that they were in the country. It isnt rational to assume that we have caught them all. We want to capture and detain these conspirators so that we dont have to live in worry that they will hurt us in the future.

As for the visit program... Im no expert on it. I dont know anything about the credit cards.... But the terrorists used lapses in our border security (methods to prove identification) so our security is much tighter. The terrorists slipped through our screening process because of their visas. Now we have to screen everyone as if they could be.

We have a right to know who is entering our country. Especially in a time of war. What other nation should we have respect for, that we dont respect now? Does respect demand obedience?
