Culexus assassins are useful against Tyranids because the can do a lot of damage to psykers and guess what all Tyranid synapse creatures count as psykers.

Yea but you have to get the Culexus close enough....

If I was ever using an Assassin...Vindicator. Long range, so basically mostly safe from nids and take out synapse with crack shots :O

I don't think so. I believe the old Assassin's Codex is still in play.

Yea im getting sick of GW. They make everything shit. I've heard they're gonna make berzerkers weak as piss. I cannot allow this to happen.

I wouldn't say they are making things shit, just better balanced and what not. It's just that their prices are going too high, so I've stopped collecting for a fair while now, and just sorta slowly painting up my unpainted models.

They better not do since my army is all berzerkers. I know they are making the daemons in the new Codex: Chaos Space Marines weaker but they are bringing out a codex for daemon armies with harder daemons in.

Lol I suggest you change your army type anyway, all berserker is kinda inflexible.

Anyway....they've come out with a new 'Nids codex haven't they?

it may be inflexible but it looks good on the table top. Besides I dont care about winning as long as I inflict a lot of casulties - which I always do. Especially when my lord gets into combat.

They did a new Tyranid codex a while ago when they released the new 40k with the battle of Maccrage altho dont be surprised if a new one doesnt end up coming out next year.

Inflexable but theyre bloody good at what they do. Theyre the best close combat specialists you can have as troop choice aside from gene-stealers. They kick the living shit out of pretty much anyone and everyone in hand to hand, and even though theyre abit expensive.

I manage to field two units of 15 in under 1800 pts which isn't that bad considering thats acompanied by a lord, 8 blood letters and 10 undivided marines. The army works fairly well, I've managed to totally rape an army of eldar worth the same pts and murder death company, necrons, dark angels and a unit of 10 undivided chaos marines that i attacked with my 8 blood letters even though the undivided army was on my side.

Never been afraid of them really. A nice round of fire usually whittles enough of them down for me to get the charge instead of them and I usually win out in combat. Hilarious as well when you can kill them before they get a chance to summon their bloodletters. What's even more hilarious is watching Deathwing eat them alive; Assault Cannon anyone? Black Templars do quite well against them aswell.

I don't think I've ever lost to a chaos army before....

I need to really check out the 'Nids new codex...I haven't seen what new evil abominations they've got now.

I played a Deathwing player. By the end of the game he had 5 models on the board. I've never seen anyone (well other than myself) role so many ones.

Nids have some really nasty stuff - like Genestealers with feeder tendrills gives them all prefered enemy. The Broodlord is a hrd character too - but role enough 6s with an axe of Khorne and he'll go down same as everyone else. The other mutations stuff they have can be a nuisance winged Hive Tyrants can be a pain altho I think they are worse when accompanied by Tyrant Guard.

Yup and that coupled with the "Without number" rule which means broods get recycled can be a real headache

Black templars would get raped. Deathwing will do well against berzerkers considering that they are fast and can use good guns for the job like assualt cannons at a good speed.

Black Templars never get raped lol. Especially against chaos.

Dunno what BT players you were playing...obviously they formed incorrect squads and took the wrong vows.

I suppose BT are very tentative to handle.

I have a close friend who is a BT player....I've played him sooo many times, yet I've only one once, and I'm not a bad player, I've not been beaten many times in the multiple games I've played. I just hate his vows >_<

Well they say that even though they arent as good in straight hand to hand as berzerkers. Black templars have a good tactical flexibility for hand to hand specialists and still have access to decent fire power.

Well looks like Khorne fans can rest easy Bezerkers are not weak - they are now weapon skill 5 and have furious chrage plus they are still fearless.
