Are any of you on Twitter?
Of course. @Brian_Kittrell. I post infrequently, though.
nope sorry not a blogger.. the worst I have is FB and I raerly go on that. In any case, I still dont undertand why these social network sites even exist.. ok FB you can catch up with old mates through.. but twitter?... meh each to their own. Give me a reason to join and I'll consider it mate.
@conquer737 is mine, what about you, Druid of Lûhn?
I'm on twitter but I don't get it so there's no need to follow me ^^
I have one but yeah, I don't understand it either so I don't use it haha
I am with these two!!
hearing all of that, we should really get off twitter... But the thing is: my fav. musician updates via twitter, so I basically have to stay >.<
I made it two years ago to follow my favorite football players.... now i never check it except before a game haha
which musician are you talking about?
Bobby Long >.>
well and Alex Starling, that one's gonna be pretty great in England in no time with his band. But Bobby has a headstart, especially in the US...
Added you; but you don't seem to tweet to much.
No I don't, I know. Only when I find something interesting.
Twitter's a tough site to get into unless you follow a lot of people. The more people you follow, the more likely you are to find stuff that interests you. I'm on it for marketing purposes but I follow some cool fantasy/sci fi/nerd -type accounts and get the heads up on a lot of cool stuff like conventions, fantasy artwork, book releases/special offers (like signed copies!), movie releases and random stuff (like pics of huge Lego constructions of fantasy characters...lol) . I try to retweet the best stuff to my followers in addition to what I tweet myself. You can also have a conversation of sorts with other people on twitter. Some people post random comments about weird stuff in their day and you can respond to it. I've met a few interesting people online that way and now follow their blogs.
The problem with Twitter is the volume of freaking useless advertising. There are apps people use on it to tweet pre-made messages at set intervals throughout the day and that kind of crap clutters up your twitter feed like you wouldn't believe. There are some idiots who post like a million tweets per day of "original content" (ie: not retweets of cool stuff); all of it on the same topic (which is mostly advertising). Thank goodness for the "unfollow" button!
Some accounts you guys might find interesting if you're on Twitter:
@MyNerdBlog (this guy is awesome... all kinds of cool random stuff here )
I'm @crumbtweet. Yay for me!
I follow a small number of people, quite a few actually from here, others family, some web-design stuff, TORn and Human Rights Watch.
Following you Crumble Ephemeral!
^^Me too, but you already knew that
I did indeed. In fact, I may even be your biggest stalker on Twitter.
