    Nice pics.

The first one looks very similar to some of the country roads we have here in Florida.

Do you hike or backpack?.. looks like good terrain and scenery for that sort of thing.

Also, odd looking trees, what are they?

Very nice. Some good shots. Could I possibly get a high res version of the second pic to make a canvas print at work?

    Thanks!
Looks like it might be a swallow out for a morning meal.

Where I live in Florida we get the birds flying south, then again making their way back north. Our courtyard has palm trees that have large bunches of berries, and at various times of the year it's like a riot of birds as they stop in for a snack. It gets so crazy sometimes they'll be birds crashing into our windows... which usually kills them unfortunately. And lots of mockingbirds, dozens of them at any given time during the day.

So the image you posted has not been shrunk down for internet use?

Nevermind its already 2500px wide. I can use that. Want a free canvas print yourself?

So different from where I am. I'm on the beach front. Where we have dry hills meeting beach.

Nice pictures. I especially like the one of the dead tree.

This is really different from where I am too: we have birches, beaches and pines, lots and lots of rain and hills (no mountains in Belgium).

This is what they call "fast food". Who says that's not healthy? :D

Well you'd certainly have to run fast to catch it so it's got to be healthy!
    Nice pics Emerlas!
The trees you have there are sooooo different than what we have here. It's neat to see.

I'm guessing that when you wake up in the morning to a herd of kangaroos that you ain't a city girl.:)

Is Alice Springs waaaaaaaay out in the country, if so... don't you just go crazy sometimes being so far from a metropolitan area?

Actually I live 20 min drive from a city and there are roos everywhere. Even occasionally on the beach. Technically my town is a suburb of a city.

Sorry you arent talking to me anyway XD

I guess I shouldn't be surprised... I live in the city, or actually in the historic district which is just a stone's throw from downtown, and we get everything from eagles and hawks, rattle snakes, to an occasional alligator. We had a young alligator in the parking lot at work last year. Our company mascot, a stray cat... didn't know what the hell to make of it.

I get brown snakes in my work. Which is sometimes scary. Also koalas in the trees and all the famous aussie birds. And I work in a so called Industrial area lol.

But an occasional alligator beats all that!

Nice picture! Reminds me of a herd of reindeer we saw on the highest mountain in northern Europe. Sort of just there, outside your window.
