Did anyone else find Theoden to be kind of all talk, no walk in TTT? He was cool in ROTK but in TTT he seemed to just sit back in his tower at Helms Deep and spout one-liners ("Is this the best you can do, Saruman?") while his men were down there being slaughtered.

I dunno. Bernard is a cool actor for sure, I just thought Theoden was kind of full of hot air for many of TTT.

^Right. He even got wounded on top of that.
Plus I liked his thoughts while he was getting suited up. By ROTK I really liked his character.

In the extended dvd he saves Gamling by severing one of the Uruk's arms.
