*sniff* That's so mean Byz. I love the HP books. :D

The worst thing I ever read was a Christian "romance novel", recommended by a friend. Sorry, if it ain't got :humper:, it ain't a romance novel. hehe

A book titled "The Trumpeter of Krakow". Horrible. I don't know why it was published. A 3rd grader could write something better.

I have to agree that Christian romance novels are generally bad, but not for Nienor's reason. I simply think they're WAY to cheesy. And maybe because I don't like romance novels...

It hurts me to say this, because she IS my favorite writer, but I really detested it. I thought it was poorly written, to begin with. Awkward, unnecessary punctuation, unfinished sentences, and a kind of language that seemed to be trying to sound “fresh and young” but only sounded vulgar.

I also didn’t like the plot. It was a poor story. I hated what she did to Ash. And the characters didn’t act like themselves. I know characters are allowed to (and supposed to) change and evolve, but it just seemed like they all completely changed out of the blue. It was unconvincing.

And the book is full of Christianity due to Anne’s return to her faith. It’s not my main reason for disliking it, and I respect her religion and her choices, but it also means I can’t relate to her ideas anymore.

Aww i love Anne Rice's books as well...I wouldn't say the book is one of her best, but certainly not bad! I'm an atheist but I can still understand and relate to the characters. Anyway I'm sorry you didn't like it :(

Ah the movie fahreinheit 451, thats great, that movie made me laugh for days and what's this about stephan king and being boring???? que???? and JRR Tokliens books don't have too much detail? (don't get me wrong, I loved the books by him) oh well. A book was the worst I ever read was probably some book where sally goes to the store that I read in kindergarten.
