If you liked the Dark Elf Triology, you'll absolutly love this. Its in forgotten Realms, and is about Menzobernanzan and other Drow cities, very good books

It's setting the forefront for Forgotten Realms books right now to be sure. If you like this series, check out the Last Mythal trilogy........... VERY good.

I want to read it when I get a chance, it's created by Rob Salvatore, but written by multiple authors, right?

Yeah, he designed the plot of the story, but left it to six authors to fill in the gaps. Every book is written by an author chosen by R. A. Salvatore himself.

Warning...If you havn't read Book Six, "Resurrection" and don't want to know the ending, then stop reading now. If you have read it, please scroll down and tell me your thoughts.

Ok, Maybe I'm taking this way too seriously but I just finished this book and I find it really disturbing. In a way it makes sense that if Hallistra can't make up her mind, and passes up multiple chances for redmption that she would suffer. Still it really bothers me that that entire Elestrean subplot vanishes into nothing.

Also, what is with that scene near the end of the book where Danifae becomes a bitter strumpet with no power or station? How then was she also Lolth reborn?

I guess since all the charecters are Drow, one can't really expect a happy ending, but it seems every "good guy" dies and every marginally sympathetic bad guy also buys it. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I really am disapointed at how things ended.

    Thanks for any input,

    Lysander
