Well, there is a plot twist that people didn’t like, because it was so out of character.
the han solo one?
He’s not in the film.
oh, I thought I heard someone talk about him making out of character decisions. Oh wait, it was that guy in the brown cape. Luke?
(if it's not luke then I give up)
Yes, Luke. Obviously all characters evolve, but it’s such a weird change. Even the actor who plays him was vocal about it.
So was it all about the money, money, money?
Or does it really make sense to make more and more and more Star Wars movies?
Money is by far the only reason to make more SW films. I’m not saying it’s the only reason, but Disney is not interested in making art.
I heard that originally there were supposed to be 11 movies. What number are we on right now?
Well before Disney there were six saga films. Since then there are two more and one anthology film (Rogue One). This year another anthology film is coming out about Han Solo. Next year another saga film will come out. They already said another trilogy is planned. And I’m sure there will be a lot more anthology films. So currently there are nine, if you don’t count the Holiday Special.
So it's never gonna stop? Oh dear...
