    Name: Arlet Fethray (Shadow Born)
    Age: 132
    Gender: Male
    Race: Elf
Weapons: Twin swords (pitch black), two daggers (pitch black), and two chakrams (blood-red)
    Job: Mercenary

Appearance: Arlet wears loose black pants (perfect for combat), black boots and a black shirt. Over all this he tends to wear a long black hooded cloak. All of these items of clothing are the perfect shade of black to help Arlet hide in shadows, and even when walking in light he looks like a walking shadow. However, when he removes the cloak, Arlet has the appearance of an incredibly handsome young human. Long black hair, swept back from a youthfully attractive face, with grey eyes and pointed ears being the most unsual features to betray his nonhuman lineage. Arlet is tall and thin, however there are clearly muscles there, betraying his actual strength.

Personality: Arlet is a rather anti-social person, not usually initiating conversation with anyone. However, when spoken to he is revealled to be rather friendly and open, displaying a quick wit and an easy charm. He particularly enjoys the company of women, and in his time he has gone to bed with many different women who fell to his charms. This does not mean he has no respect for them, but on the contrary it is a supressed need for company until he finds someone he can have a serious relationship with. Unfortunately his lifestyle seems to prevent this. Despite not showing it all the time, Arlet is rather intelligent.
In battle of conflict of any kind, Arlet immediately changes and becomes ruthless, showing no mercy to his foes. At the same time, however, he refuses to harm innocents, working to his own personal morals. It can also be seen by the way he fights that he seems to approach his own life with complete indifference, not caring about wounds sustained in battle, even if they could potentially be fatal.

History: Arlet is a young man, by elven standards. He was given the name "Shadow Born" at birth, due to the unusual circumstances which led to his conception. His mother was raped by an elf dressed all in black to disguise his identity, and from this Arlet's mother fell pregnant with Arlet. Shortly after Arlet was born, his mother was attacked and killed one night by someone who could only presumably be the rapist. This was the motivation that led to Arlet training himself in physical combat almost as soon as he could walk. It wasn't long before Arlet had mastered many forms of armed and unarmed combat, including the hard-to-use chakrams, which remain hidden on his back so as not to betray him when in shadow. However, the cost of this is his complete lack of ability when it comes to magic. For many years until the present time, Arlet has worked as a mercenary, taking on any odd-jobs he feels like to earn money, but the whole time his life-goal has been to discover the identity of the rapist and gain vengeance. The trail has lead him to the large town of Secca...

    Name: Belzar Zarlen
    Age: 443
    Race: Demon
    Class: Warrior
Weapons: Two daggers, two bright red swords and two pitch black palm daggers

Appearance: Despite his age, Belzar appears as a young, handsome man, thin yet muscular, with a friendly, open face, and spiky medium length brown hair. The only things which give him away as inhuman are his slightly pointed ears, razor sharp teeth and fingernails, and his eyes, which change colour to refelect his mood, but are usually a deep blue. He is usually dressed very richly, with ornate leathers and smooth material, perfect for travelling. Over all this he wears a long animal skin coat. However, underneath all this clothing he wears a chainmail vest of dwarven craftsmanship, which is great protection in battle. Also, underneath his sleeves, he has his two palm daggers sheathed in case of emergency. They're are usually not necessary though, as his twin swords are constantly sheathed at his waist, and his two daggers strapped to his thighs, all hidden under his coat.

Personality: Belzar is a quiet, thoughtful person, used to solitude after his exile and the subsequent death of his race. However, he can be very sociable and friendly, displaying a quick tongue and an even quicker wit. This can help to get him out of trouble, but sometimes it gets him into even more trouble. He is also extremely loyal to people who have earned his respect, but coupled with his impulsiveness this is yet another personality trait that can get him into trouble. Belzar is also plagued with voices that only he can hear, but other than that he is perfectly mentally healthy.

History: Unknown. All that is known about Belzar is that he is an incredibly skilled physical fighter, used to handling all sorts of weapons and even bare-fist fights, however this is compensated for by his complete inability to do anything magical.

    Name: Meltaris Sarthen
    Age: 697
    Deity: Mother Gaea
    Race: Wood Elf
    Kingdom: Lorinea
Weapons: Bow and Arrow, bladed staff
    Class: Elementalist

Appearance: A tall (6ft, 5), handsome elf. He has long dark brown hair which falls gracefully over his shoulders, and deep, piercing green eyes. His facial features are perfectly formed, while the tips of his ears showing through his curtain of hair are the only things that give him away as anything other than an exceptionally beautiful man. His clothing of choice is a pair of sturdy travelling boots in a dark green colour, and black pants. He wears a white shirt, with the sleeves genrally rolled up, underneath a brilliant, fiery red, open jerkin. Over all of this he wears a dark, mossy green hooded robe, and he also wears black leather gloves. His bow and arrow are constantly slung on his back except when in use, and he carries his heavy staff with him. He also carries a beautiful blue jewel on a chain around his neck.

Personality: Meltaris is a very easygoing person, who is naturally friendly and trusting towards new people, with a charm that takes in most people. The exception to his natural friendliness is the Orga, towards whom he has an undying hatred. However, even in battle, Meltaris is usually very quick witted, and he has a habit of keeping up a flow of sarcastic and smart-mouthed comments, which can sometimes amuse, but sometimes cause his fellow travellers to find him grating at times. Meltaris seems incapable of taking anything seriously, but this is purely a defensive trait he has put up due to some disaster in his past.

History: A young elf, Meltaris has been training as an elementalist since he could walk, and has become incredibly proficient at it. He has also trained in the bow and arrow, and his favourite trick is to imbue an arrow with a certain element then send it deep into an enemy's chest. He also knows how to slightly use his bladed staff as a weapon when in close, but it is mainly just to help channel his elemental abilities, and he still prefers to fight from a distance.

Meltaris' family history is unknown, as this is one topic that Meltaris is not open about, preferring to make a joke to pass it off and detract attention from it.

    Name: Lartazh (Lar-taj) Zersan / "Black-bird"
    Age: 578
    Gender: Male
    Race: Sky Elf, Winged Elf
    Class: Warrior/Ranger
    Deity: None
Alignment: None, personal motives are always what drives him, and these can be very varied
    Height: 6 ft 7
Weapons: Two swords, a length of chain, and 'Driving Force' (a scythe)

Appearance: Lartazh wears only a pair of black, travelling pants, and hardy black boots. he is bare-chested, and clearly very muscly, however at the same time very thin, giving the impression of speed and strength. There is one large scar running diagonally across the upper half of his chest, but this is the only visible scar he has, however he has more than enough tattoos. At his waist are hung two swords, both with pitch-black steel blades, and slung on his back, between his also pitch-black wings, is a large scythe-like weapon, which Lartazh calls 'Driving Force'. Also attached to his wrist with a manacle, as though ripped straight from a wall, is a length of chain tipped with a small sharp blade. Lartazh has long-black hair, and his eyes are also a dark grey. He rarely ever smiles, but when he does one specific tooth is revealed, and it is one he has filed down to a point.

Personality: Lartazh is a very serious person, whose exceptional prowess with any weapon and even bare-handed combat is nicely counter-balanced by his ineptitude with even the simplest magic spells. Lartazh is a very serious man, who seems to get the most joy out of fighting. Most other aspects of his personality are an mystery, although what is known is that, outside of battle, his next action can never be predicted, and he is very blunt and direct with everything he says. He also keeps a lot of personal things to himself, unless questioned. However, he can also be a sociable person, and will usually wish for the company of someone else, whatever he does.

History: Not much is known about Lartazh's past. He was born and as soon as he could walk he learned to wield weapons and fight, although he has never had any instruction in the use of magic, and as such he avoids ever getting into a situation that requires it. Shortly after his 126th birthday Lartazh left his homeland to journey out into the world and live his life how he wanted. During that period of time he became a relatively well-known Ranger, and because of his appearance he earned himself the nickname "Black-bird". Roughly 175 years ago Lartazh joined forces with the demons and their allies, for unknown reasons, and fought alongside them for many, many years. It was during this period that he filed one of his teeth down to a point for appearance's sake. However, about 10 years ago Lartazh decided to no longer fight with them, and was subsequently imprisoned and tortured horrendously for ten years, never allowed to die (kept on the brink of death by constant healing spells) during this time, until he finally managed to escape. Since that day, a few days ago, he has promised himself he will fight against the demons until he feels redeemed.
