Which sport do you think is the best, most popular and definetely most fun in the world?

Edit:In the American Football category Rugby is supposed to be included as well.Polo is Pool Volley for those who don't know.

Rugby is included in American Football?

Wow.....what a sad day it is when such things happen...

Tbh though I couldn't say there is a best sport. Depends what I feel like playing.

I wish I played hockey at least for once in my life to see how it feels to play that game...

It's a really fun game. Make sure you play with proper hockey sticks, not that plastic "PE in schools" stick.

Hard to play it here.Imagine that about 10-12 years ago I was crazy about Baseball and I wanted to play it so much so I had my Dad buy me a Baseball bat and a very good Baseball glove(at that time both very rare to find here). And then another friend of mine got a Baseball bat from his uncle from Canada(or USA).And then we gathered some of our friends and we were trying to play Baseball during the weekends ...with some limited rules and the little and insufficient knowledge that we had on the sport based on what we saw on TV in American movies and comedies.

After all this craze stopped ironically Baseball was officially introduced in Greece and the first official teams and clubs were formed.

Football and Basketball, followed by Volley remain the biggest and most popular sports here.

Lately I'm very interested in finding photos etc.of neighborhood/urban/street football,basketball...you know...I just want to see how kids and teens play in their neighborhoods in other parts of the world. You know...you always carry in your mind and heart the times when you were playing with your friends down the house,in the neighborhood...

Of the choices the most popular (globally) must be football. The most fun, again of the choices is Rugby (in which American football should be included not the other way around :)). The most glaringly omitted sport is cricket which would have got my vote.

I won't say there's such a thing as best sport. But most popular wise, I'll say soccer 'cuz the reach of that sport is virtually worldwide. Hell, even US makes it through to the World Cup regularly, so that tells you something. ;)

    True...true...

And when poor kids in Africa,South America and the Middle-East have nothing(I mean when they don't have the luxuries that most people have)they still have soccer to play with a dirty ball, near a small graffiti-decorated alley on Saturday morning wearing cheap T-shirts of their favorite players or teams.

I'm not too sure abt Mid-east tbh, but I agree with you that poor kids in Sout America and Africa have their greatest joy in playing football, so it really says a lot on soccer being the international language. In fact,in South America and Africa, there had been cases of success from the poor kids esp Brazil. Don't believe me? Ask Ronaldinho lol! :D

I believe you,I know many poor kids have become famous football players!

The good thing about sports is that they can unite people all over the world, but also divide them. One thing I really hate is the violence in sports.I just think it's really stupid.

Here's a very good video that I've been watching again and again lately:

I meant violence by fans! You know...beating the opposite team's fans, burning cars, breaking stuff, destroying stadiums and generally giving sports a bad name.
