Indeed a hermit, should you choose to call it that... Independent seems more fitting.

I'd like to see your land sometime, should it be fit for my eyes

*a knock is heard* *as the two draw weapons, a voice sounds out*

I am the Wandering Magus. Long have I wandered this world. No home have I, but for a humble store in a humbler town not but a little ways from here. I come in peace, but in a careful peace. The business I bring is one of a petition for hospitality. If there be fey about this place, know I carry upon myself no cold iron. If there be ghosts about this place, know I carry willing blood as payment, though not my own. As guest, I will honor the code of hospitality, may the Hecatae strike me if I lie. I am the Wandering Magus. I seek nothing but your hospitality, keeper of this hearth. I will not, and both physically and magically cannot, enter without your permission. I beg of the keeper, grant me but thine hospitality, and i will be eternally grateful.

    *leans over to Reece's ear*

That "he" has some strange protuberances for a man, and curves quite nicely...

    *chuckles and greets the newcomer*

I love this forest. It is very ancient and can feel the ancestral calling. But it is not time yet to join it. However, it is so beautiful and magical that I stayed too long and ran out of food, and made my way here.

    *smiles at Reece's confused expression*

There are many tracks leading here, or at least to mu eye.

I am a wanderer, ever seeking knowledge and new wisdom. I came to these woods seeking the Forest Gentry, but the pixies seemed to be having a council at the heart of Faerie at the moment.

It is because of this I came to your hearth, you who are called Reece. I had sufficient food to avoid consumption of the food of the Fey, but wished to stay, if possible, within these woods until such time as the pixies return.

Your house was the first residence inhabited with positive energy I could see with my Third Eye. It is for this reason I came to your door.

**and thanks for the clarification, Druid :)**

    **And typed a capital H?**

Ah. We druids are mages of nature and history. We are efficient in elementary magic - magic of the elements - and in ancient magic, for that is what we are taught. We live in forests and are so bonded with them that one day, when we feel the call we join the forest and sort of... how to explain. Become it. That is why our forests are ever growing and so magical.

Okay, Magus, You're quite welcome to make yourself at home for as long as you like... as you see, i could rarely run out of supplies *Waves hand and a banquet of food appears on the table in the centre of the room, which also appears to have gotten longer*

And druid, That's sufficient, im happy to have you both here, it's rare that i get visitors...

    Enjoy your stay folks.

*folds hands before herself and bows deeply* that is a very generous offer, Reece. And as you have said it with truth, and trust, your word is bond. Only three times in many millenia have any entrusted places and items to my care after their death.

*sits down* I will partake when my host partakes, as that is, as I hear, the tradition of these parts. However, after the traditional sharing of food I will be content to eat the food I have brought, if that will not be of offence to yourself. Many times I find myself in the company of powerful beings whose bodily needs are quite different from my own, requiring me to partake but once.
