Minas Tirith! Oh man! It was more spectacular than what I had ever imagined! It was so white and beautiful. Everything from the pure green grass in the citadel courtyard, to the white marbel in Denethor's hall. It was gorgeous!

The Grey Havens were wonderful. Almost exactly like how I ahd pictured them. And Minas Tirith was the best. Absolutely perfect. *Thumbs WAY up*

The sounds pretty so nice!!! I think I am going to see it within the next week. ((the full version of course, lol))

Yes, the cartoon was sooo gay (LOTR version). The lady in the bar scene made me downright scared, lol... they used a real actress and tried to cartoonIFY her, lmao!

Who keeps the Grey Havens? As in who looks after them. It seemed deserted, that just a recent thing (talking about the film). Was it kept by the Elves until they all left? Thus noone was left when Elrond and co were getting the last ship?

Well, cIrdan-founder and lord of Mithlond-remained there with some elves but took the last ship towards the west sometime in the 4th age. I felt the Havens were a 2 deserted..it looked a little
    weird..

I thought it looked good. But anyway, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the book ever says that Cirdan leaves. He waits at the Havens until the very last ship sailed. Tolkien never said when the last ship sailed.

Isn't the last ship the one with sam, legolas and gimli on it?
Does anyone know where i can get my hands on any designs of the buildings ion the grey havens or minas tirithe (osgiliath will do too). The architectural design that went into them was just stunning.

Well it says in a few books and the encyclopedia of the arda that Cirdan sailed into the West sometime during the fourth age. ["awoke at Cuiviénen, sailed into the West with the last ship some time in the Fourth Age"]

Well the one with frodo, galadriel and elrond was not the last ship. It was called the white ship and Cirdan built it specially for them.

That was the problem with the movie, I guess PJ wanted to wrap it up all in one bundle. Celeborn got on with Frodo and Galadriel as well.

The Grey Havens DID look diserted, but beutifully done. I guess that goes with the "PJ changing it so that Frodo took the last ship" thing. I guess him taking the last ship with the last of the elves is more epic, then just one made for them. Gimli and Legolas were not mentioned either near the end. But maybe thats in the EE
