I'm almost done. . . almost. So far it has been a terrific book. The last bit of EotW got me going at a full run. The Damane are an interesting twist. As are the Grolm. Padan Fain was a shocker as well, I need to finish the last couple of chapters and see how it turns out!

Hehe. It's another gooder. Out of the first three books, I can't solidly say which of them are the best. I also am almost done Shadow Rising, only about 200 pages left, just haven't been able to read since school started on Monday because I have a huge essay I have been dedicating myself too.

Lots of interesting concepts that are primary in the rest of the novels are introduced in the Great Hunt.

I just finished it tonight. I gotta say, it keeps getting better and comes to a great climax at the end, just like EotW. I won't say anything to descriptive to ruin it for you Met.

Jordan is known to have a knack for that. Makes them really hard to put down unless you have something really worthwhile to be doing. I was surprised when I read the climax of GH. I wasn't expecting certain 'things' to occur, but it defintely played out nicely.

I agree, I thought it would be hard to top the ending of EotW, but Jordan did it easily.

I loved the book. Explained a bit more about the Aes Sedai. And I'm sure Lanfear/Selene's part will become more interesting in the future. :)
