Does anyone have any idea where she has vanished too?
*hangs his head* no
she bolted from us and vanished after fighting with a were wolf in a battle for guilds. They drew in the end, but wolf was badly hurt. After returning she acted strangly and then up and ran - with an unattural speed. Since then nothing, now smell or track.
Sadly, I see nothing that could be of use. It shames me to be of no use to the Pack. However, you all will know the moment it happens if I see anything.
It distresses me much to hear this news, yet as Morgaia has said we are pack and we cannot leave while Wolf may still be out there. If you agree, I will search the mountains nearby, in the direction of the rising sun. I suggest that others search too, by themselves or two together and perhaps we will find a trace of where she has gone.
*lifts her head*
There there, the pack has come together when the leader left.
*smiles sacastically and leaves the great cave*
Heorfoult stepped into the Great Cave and looked around warily. It had been a while he had set foot in here, but now he was back he started to remember some things from his very first visit when he asked to join the Alliance.
He coughed. "Anyone here?"
The bunny wiggled its little tail.
*storms into the Great Cave*
She... Wolf... she... TRANSFORMED!!
She's a man-wolf!
We're not... not safe anymore...
*falls on the floor*
*breaks down, totally exhausted*
"Ah," said the elf dryly, "in the nick of time."
He put his bunny on the ground and it hopped a few feet away from him.
"No worries, we'll be safe here from any transvestite or transgender rabid wolf that might go raving mad and try to attack us." He studied the cave and dropped his backpack on the floor. From it he fished a staff. He held it firmly in one of his hands and tapped with it on the floor a couple of times.
"There. That should do it. Now then, I don't believe we have been introduced before, you are?" he eyed the panting Wolf.
*Mauthair enters the cave, after meditating amongst the mountains for days*
"What is this madness? You shudder, Aelaulde, pray tell me what troubles the cave so?"
*weakly stands up again*
I guess wolf got bitten in the battle against the werewolves.
She...she transformed into one of them...
I'm here to warn you, she's moving on our grounds. We're not save anymore.
She wouldn't...she would never harm the pack. We cannot treat her as such a monster. Even wer-"
The word was bitter on the tongue.
"Even werewolves have knowledge of their own morality and purpose. There's more chance of her being confused...scared, possibly even vulnerable. Our aim is to help what we can, when we can. We will not abandon her.
If she makes way for this cave, I must see her with my own eyes. If she remembers us, she will remember herself. Then, we will work on how to get her back."
If you see it that way, great Mauthair, do what you can't resist. I will not stop you from this foolishness. But I will not help either.
*retreats into the back of the cave*
Were wolves might know what they once were, but that does not mean that they have any control. If she is heading here then we should all leave. We need to lure her into a trap = a pitfall or something similar. We cannot trust that she will not attack us out of pure rage or instinct which overcomes all other senses.
I do not wish to harm Wolf or have to fight her - so trapping her is hte best way forward. Once trapped we can wait - see if she changes back like some of thier kind do or see if she can remember us.
Come we must leave - the forest will be best - we can dig a deep pit -- though we will need some form of cover for the trap - one which can be placed over onve wolf is within, for as high as we can jump - they can jump higher.
Might it be time to call upon allies in other lands. Those of the Fellowship would have the needed skills- but time is against us - we must flee
Rychos put the staff back into his backpack and swung it onto his back.
He picked up the bunny and held it in his hands. "I assume I can be excused then?", he politely asked.
excused? your the one with hands = we need you to help build the mesh to hide the trap
and we must travel together = one alone is not a match of wolf in this state - to not think that submission to her will work - frenzied she will attack and attack till you are dead
"Are you oblivious to the fact that I am holding a bunny right now? My hands are occupied. Besides you are all perfectly safe here since I tapped the ground with my staff a few times. It's a sanctuary spell that does an excellent job in keeping bad things, violence and evil out for quite a long time. Should last at least a week. In the meantime I'm going to the market to buy some seeds and other things I'll need to do my new ranger job efficiently."
He placed the bunny back on his shoulder and fished an old pocketwatch from one of his pockets. It opened with a click to reveal an intricate mechanism with several arms, each moving at its own speed. He closed it with a wrist movement and put it away.
"I'm running late as it is already."
This is a nuthouse. I can see dieing for a guild- I can live with that. But I can't see dieing because you guys are too... stupid to decide for a way to go.
I came here, telling you what's up. I say we flee.
Mauthair is against it.
OR for building a trap.
And the bunny is leaving.
*scoffs again, this time disdaining*
Get your thoughts strait, guys.
Mauthair- "Of course I am against it, we do not know yet what manner of creature she has become! To act rashly is to seal our own fates, but to have such little faith in our own is near shameful. I will not allow her to be harmed, but nor will I allow her to harm us.
I will go to find her myself."
*swears into her beard*
*realizes that she doesn't have a beard*
*mutters into her furr*
*waits for Mauthair and ponders on what has become of Wolf*
*wonders what Running_wolf is muttering about*
