We shall begin with a description of the pivitol groups on Garnack. It seems only appropriate that the creators of Garnack be the first in this list.

Though now there are several gods on Garnack, this world began with only five. These five each controled an element through which Garnack was shaped. They are thusly called the Elemental Gods, and are the most powerful beings in existance, though there are those whom we shall discuss latter whose might comes frighteningly close to Their's.

As already stated, the five elemental gods each control Their own elemental force. These forces are called Entities. Since they are essentially extensions of their respective gods and have little that distinguishes them from one another, we will discuss them before we continue.

Their are six Entities. Yes, that is correct six entities not five. These Entities are the elements upon which creation was built. They are Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Light, and finally Dark. The five formers each fall under the comand of a god, but the latter, Darkness, has no god. The presence of the gods and the influence of Their commands has left the Entities without much personallity or conciousness. Though very powerful they are also very stupid. They are this way because the Gods have always done their thinking for them. The only exception to this is Darkness. Darkness is slowly gaining it's own conciousness and it is said that It has in fact proclaimed itself a woman. Though this is yet to be proven.

Here we move on to our next group. These are the gods Who came into being after the creation of Garnack. They are beings who did not begin as gods but became them by doing that which only gods can do. They created something from nothingness. These creations are refered to as Concepts. Concepts are similar to Entities though they control the more abstract forces of the Universe. These concepts are Joy, Rage, Fear, Love, Hatered, Compasion, Order, Chaos, Birth, and Death.

These Conceptual Gods have risen up from the creations of the Elemental Gods. Almost every race has a member who has become a Conceptual god. From the infamous Demons to the bizzare and unpredictable Monsters. We shall now be going into further detail about the Elemental gods of Garnack.

    IRaces of Garnack
    AElemental Gods
    IBalendrite

Balendrite is the oldest of the gods. This is perhaps a superficial statement in that the five elemental gods exist in all times and in fact did not come into creation but rather awoke from a sleep. Balendrite is therefore the first god to awaken.
God of Light, Balendrite is master of the sun and the day, not just of Garnack but of all worlds. Since night is a time of darkness Balendrite has little power over it, to compensate for this he created the twin moons of Garnack with shed light onto nightime Garnack. This increases his dominian only marginally however.
His second domain is the etherial realm. The world of spirits. Spirits, though they may be predominatly some other element, all spirits are created from light and are therefore serants of Balendrite. In the Creation of the Five Races, Balendrite commanded Light to give rise to the Human race through a series of changes in a specific group of animals. A process that would later be named evolution.

    I Races of Garnack
    A Elemental Gods
    I Garnack

Also known as Mother Garnack, Garnack is the Goddess of Earth and is in fact the very planet Garnack itself, or rather Herself. As one might expect she is a very motherly figure and considers all life and all races Her children, despite what god they worship.
Garnack is responsible for the creation of the Forstends, a race that will be discused later on. Not suprisingly the Entity that serves Garnack is Earth and through it's power and her own, Garnack shapes the planet, constantly raising mountains and then razing mountains. Her dominion extends into the night and ends at the very edge of the shores of the seas and any other body of water. This being the domain of our next subject, Salendark.

    I Races of Garnack
    A Elemental Gods
    I Salendark

Ever have one of those family members who seemed to be a total grouch and complained about every little thing and had no sence of humor what so ever? Well the gods have one too, his name is Salendark God of the Seas and all bodies of water.
As has already been established, Salendark is the grumpy old man of the Elemental gods, though he is the fourth one to awaken. He is master of all things wet....well ok not all things but most of them. He is perhaps one of the stranger looking gods you'd ever see. From the waste up he looks mostly human save for the mohawk like fin with rows of gills on either side. Oh yes and he also has eyes like a squid and he's scally. From the waste down he has massive armour plated tentalcles.
Obviously his Entity is Water. The race Salendark created is called the Marincanth. Who we shall discuss later.
