I finally got myself a digital camera, so I decided it was time to document my sword collection. I didn't realize how many swords I actually had until I tried to do this. Years of devoted sword collecting adds up, I guess. Let me know what you all think of my photography skills, eh? I've still got a few pictures to take, so look for updates if you're curious.

Good stuff. I like how you displayed your scabbards with the swords. How did you mount them to the wall? I can't see anything holding them up, which is cool. You also have some stuff I have never seen before. What is that weapon that looks like a cross made out of knives? And the thing that looks like wolverine claws?

I also like the props in the pictures, except for the ones with stuffed animals. But the monkey one was funny.

You're talking about the ranger sword and sting, right? I just used a few nails for it. It actually only works with them hanging diagonal. If they were vertical, they wouldn't stay. One nail at the bottom for the tip to rest on, and a few nails bracing the top on either side. Well, I used four for the ranger sword, to get the buckles flat.

I have descriptions for most of the weapons that say where they came from. The cross thing is supposed to be from a final fantasy game, but I have no idea which one. It's very low-quality, but I thought it looked cool enough to buy. The claws are designed by Tom Anderson. I don't like most of his stuff, but these I thought were interesting.

Not all of those animals were stuffed. Hehe. That monkey and the big white tiger were going to be the only ones with stuffed animals, but I started running out of props and still had weapons left. Maybe I'll redo a few of them and see if I like them better.

You have by far the best collection I have ever seen.

    I am in shock.

I only have glamdring, and sting w/ scabbard.

I hope to get a good quality Katana, Hadhafang, and legolas' fighting knives.

But you! you have it all! I am definitly envious of your collection.

Thanks, but I definitely don't have it all. There's still quite a few items on my wish list that I can't afford to get yet. Another couple years though... Hehe.

I'm re-shooting some of the pictures I'm not really happy with, and I've already got some updated. If anyone has suggestions about photo improvements, feel free to let me know. Also, what do you guys think about the dimmer, amber lighting compared to the bright white ones?

Got a new sword in, and improved on a few of the pictures. Again, let me know what you guys think of them.

I'm speechless! Great collection. I take it you're not married! LOL.
By the way - is that an an Albion Atlantean or a Marto? That is the one I am really envious about. I think that one really throws your collection out of balance. I'll do you a favour and take it off your hands if you like! Well done.

p.s. And how did you get Arnie in to model it?
    **chuckles**

Nope, not married. I suppose that's pretty obvious, eh? Hehe. It's the Albion version. That and the Sword of Atlantis from Jody Samson are worth more than all the rest put together, I think. I think I'll be holding onto both of them for quite a while. :D

I may be as tall as Arnie, but I'm nowhere near as beefy.

    I must say I'm jealous.
