Ah Foinikas, did I ever tell you that you sometimes remind me of a character from 'Goodness Gracious Me!'?

    "The Eiffel Tower? Indian!"

You see this is the thing: There are books, there is wikipedia and there is google. But if all we do is google,we'll never get to debate and talk.

Since google came out, people starting asking questions.

I find it funny that for all the Romans Achieved one of their biggest failings (in my eyes anyway) was nothing. Litterally, they had nothing to represnt 0.

    :p

If this is the best googling and wiki'ing can do we're in sorry shape.

I've read at least five books, numerous articles, covering various periods of the Roman Empire, and there is no other empire that has a greater influence on the modern world. Just walk out your front door and take note of all you see... the roads, the buildings, the engineering, the infrastructure, sewers, the public works, etc... very often they didn't invent it, but they did institutionalize it. Did you realize the cement they used in the later part of the empire is very close to what we use today.

Ah yes, another internet punk slinging shit from the safety of his computer and thousands of miles away.

Then let's debate it, just you and I.
I want to know exactly how much you think you know about the Roman Empire.

Internet punk blah blah blah? You're the one who walked in this forum with the attitude of "I f*ck you all and I don't care about your rules".That's your attitude. The "Oh I am 40 and I don't care.Oh I am also handsome and more experienced in everything.Oh take it from me.Religion sucks. You suck.I rule"

Man I told you, losen up the attitude,we've had many people like you here before. They either got the boot, temporary bans or eventually stopped posting.I mean come on,you don't have to prove that you're macho and all that stuff.

By the way I don't claim to be a know-it-all when it comes to the Roman Empire, however I do live in Thessaloniki, the second biggest city of the Byzantine Empire and therefore...well my city is full of Roman stuff.Everywhere.The Arch of Gallerius, the market, the Rotonda, the baths, the Byzantine walls and towers.
