Just because he's done alot for the genre dosen't straight away mean that what he has written is brilliant, he writes what he writes. I think its because of his easy to read, not incredibly detailed writing style that he has managed to go places. People who want a quick and easy to read fantasy series (not saying any of his writing has a lack of depth content wise) have no trouble with them and enjoy them. Maybe my analogy to Eragon was a little poor thought out though. He is definitely a better writer than Palonski is at the moment. Saying that it dosen't take alot.
