Winter is just to damn long.

Whenever you think its over, it snows again. Then it melts, and it freezes. Then it snows and you get slush. And then repeat at least 10 times. thats winter.

It's always raining in the British Isles. If it's not, then it's just storing it for annoying random downpours later on.

I chose summer because of all the reasons Meteorain mentioned plus it reminds me a lot of all the best summers I've had from my childhood years until at least 2001.

You can always go to the local park or garden and hang out with your friends and if you want you can play football as well! The day lasts much longer, the weather is much warmer and you can even play backgammon with a friend while drinking coffee on the balcony or somewhere outside of your house.

Of course it always depends where you live too...last summer in the city where I am now we had 43-45 degrees Celcium....they said today it reached 41.

Hmmm, I can't decide. I really like both. We get wicked cold winters here (below 0 degrees F)along with sweltering summers(regularly over 90 F and several 100+ days as well). My favorite season is definately autumn though. I really like summer for the first coupla months( I love to sweat when I ride or run outside...wierd huh)Swimming, the long daylight hours, the smell of fresh cut grass. And, I love the crisp desolence of winter as well. Sledding, sparkling icecovered tree brances, falling snow, roaring fires, turning more inward, long nights. Hmmm...still can't decide.

    WINTER!
I love snow and cold starry INSECT-FREE winter nights.

Reasons why I don't like summer:
    - I have a mild sun allergy
    - it's harder to stay pale :p
    - too much insects (!!!)
    - I like that watershine effect only on my lips not all over my face. I don't want to use powder every two seconds
    - I can't wear coats
    - I'm allergic to most sun protection products
    - sun glasses are annoying

    Yeah.

Well some girls (even maybe a lot) see a white skin as 'pure' and think that a tan makes them look dirty. It's just their mentallity. I mean look at the make-up Geisha's used in Japan. They used white to look clean, pure, beautiful (which is what actually Queen Amidala's make-up was based on) I don't know if that is the case with Lady C, but I do know a lot of girls who think like that lol

Well I don't like tans either, and I do have naturally very pale skin. I would rather look pale and be young looking when I'm older, than run around with a 'modern' tan and look like a crumply mess when I'm 50 lol

Most modern, artificial tans make you look as if you've been 'tango'd'

Too much natural tan, if you've got pale skin to begin with, makes you look like a tomato or a wrinkled prune :D

Well I think different than Padmé though, well in case of myself lol. I do like a tan, but you know why I can't afford one. But I'm not gonna make a big deal about it, At least I'll look younger and a lot of people say that I do look young for my age:D
