lol yes but we think it's pointless to place a species that no one will use. And yeah perhaps the same applies for Gungans, but it already is on the bottom of our list. So we don't know if we're going to put it either.

If people express interest in playing an Ewok and hanging in the trees all day, they need to get to a doctor and fast! lol No seriously, if people do want to play an Ewok, or Gungan etc, then we will add it when the time comes. I think it's best to simplify for now.

Even if they aren't a character species, can they still be NPCs?

lol, a NPC is a Non-Playing Character. Basicly, NPCs are set up just like regular characters, but no one is playing them. For example, If you are a Jedi and you go to a bar to find out information from the bartender, unless if that bartender is being played by someone in particular, he is a NPC. Cause even if Endor isn't in the RPG, you can still have the creature-selling Ewoks of Coruscant.

I thought thats what you meant. Well I think for Gungan, then that is a possibility.... But for Ewok? Who's going to want to speak to them? Plus they could get turned into dinner if they try lol

Besides, Endor isnt a planet on our list to begin with..... Naboo is, so Otah Gunga can be accessed easily, without having to create an entire planet of events for it.

if you want a pet or "stead" for your character and you don't want to go out and hunt one, you can buy it from Ewoks on Coruscant.

Ewoks are not on Coruscant..... Whether you can even buy pets is debatable at this point. We're just getting started lol

It would require alot of research into what pets people can buy, so again, when it becomes an issue once gameplay has started then we'll look into that.

    Remember.... Simplify! lol

no the first of october is when we know if we have the right to post our RPG here...but I think we have enough people interested to do so...but at the moment me and Padmé are working out species with some help of Sunbane...describing them and their talent.

    Human
Most common sentient species. Can generally adapt itself to any career with only a few
exceptions. Can be talented in every aspect to what he or she focuses on.

    Twi’lek
This species’ homeworld is Ryloth. A planet which relies on clans, politics and
slavery. Males tend to focus more on politics to become the Master of the clan, while
females more concentrate in entertainment while they often combine this with spying.
Twi’leks can have the following colours: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, dark
gray, white and brown. And their lekku can have different patterns. They also store
    great memory in their lekku.

    Wookiee
Pretty primitive species. But also talented in technology and especially in hunting and
combat. They are a little clumsy with blasters, they mostly use bowcasters as a
    weapon.

    Ithorian
Peaceful and intelligent race. Talented in politics and diplomacy. As a Jedi, they have
one special skill: Using their four throats, they can blow out air with extreme power, enough to destroy walls and shatter iron.

    Clawdite
Can transform into any species that holds the same size and body mass as their original state. This is an advantage but it is limited. They are talented in hunting, spying, combat and stealth.

What about Kaminoans and Gammorians? They're very different from any of the species you listed above, and they aren't isolated from the rest of the galaxy (maybe the Kaminoans are a bit isolated, but that's cause they're mostly scientists XD). Also, what about scientist, saboteur, mercenary, and guard as professions?

EDIT: Can our characters also have racial templates?
RE-EDIT: Droids! Can characters be droids?

I just posted a few species, not all are listed in my former post

racial templates? what do you mean exactly
no characters can't be droids. It would be too limited and it could cause other problems...droids are programmed for protocol or battle for example...so they wouldn't need education, which wouldn't be fair to other players

yes you would, cause some people like politicians barely can protect themselves so droids as protection would be needed.

Wookiees understand basic language but don't speak it, so a protocol droid could be useful for a conversation with a Wookiee

racial templates...I think that's the right term. It's like...if a Twi'lek and a Human had a child together, in a human society their child would be known as being half Twi'lek. Half-Twi'lek is, therefore, that child's rqacial template. Also, when Sith Lords took Sith and mutated them with Sith alchemy to create the Massassi, they were taking the Sith and adding the mutant template (or maybe something else, I'm not sure). Another example to this is Darth Vader. Since his body is mostly robotic (or at least that's what Obi-Wan says), his racial template is cyborg. It's sort of like a sub race, but it can be applied to any main species.
