Here's some screencaps from somewhere, I'm not real sure where, but it's of some unfinished shots from SIN CITY. But, it should be enough to give you a bit of a clue regarding the look and feel that Rodriguez is going for. Though, frankly (pun intended) you ain't seen nuttin' till you see this baby move.

Rodriguez is directing Sin City. He is well known for directing / writing the El Mariachi, Desperado series. Quentin Tarantino is directing a piece of the film and it stars almost everybody in Hollywood.

Wow, looks great, I love the black and white and flashes of colour. And what a cast! They all must have loved it enough to take pay cuts otherwise there'd be no way to afford so many well known names.

And Jessica Alba as a pole dancer - gentlemen, our prayers have been answered! ;-p

I say again - Jessica Alba as a pole dancer. That's enough to get any guy to part with his hard earned!

It sure will, but despite that, this movie looks pretty sweet. Thanks for the trailers, Kartaron.

While Sin City didn't set any box office records, it profited quite nicely because of Robert Rodriguez's cost-effective shooting style. Now JoBlo, who is having a banner day for scoops, is reporting that Rodriguez is going back for more and will be filming Sin City 2 and 3 back to back next year.

The first of the two sequels would hit, we assume, in 2007

While in Cannes Robert Rodriguez confirmed that Sin City 2 will be based on A Dame to Kill For. He also added that work has already begun on the film, which will feature characters familiar from the first movie.

Dwight and Marv would be two of those characters - A Dame to Kill For tells the story of why in the first Sin City film someone comments that Dwight has a new face.

There's no solid release date for A Dame to Kill For yet. Rodriguez and Frank Miller may work on an original story for the third film, which some have claimed will be shooting back to back with A Dame to Kill For.

Rodriguez's next SIN CITY cwill probably be released in Summer 2006.

Also by Spring of next year we'll have a Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez team up picture called GRIND HOUSE, two separate 60 minute Horror films directed by each of them... with a bizarre assembly of oddities sandwiched between from other unnamed filmmakers.

The latter is very strange... I dont think theaters will want to run what seems to be a mish mash of grindhouse horror shorts. Even the Animatrix (a series of animated shorts focusing on aspects of the Matrix universe) were unpresentable as a whole in the theaters.
