When I was a kid,I remember the main rivalry video-games was between Nintendo and Sega. These two companies and their gaming parallel gaming consoles dominated the market and children around my age often sided with one or the other fanatically supporting Mario or Sonic and the consoles and games available to each company. This rivalry went on for years until the more advanced consoles like Sony Playstation initially caused a decline to Nintendo and led Sega to its slow collapse and change to a game developing company only. Back then when I was a kid I remember having an immitation of the NES(although I could play normal NES with it)and my friend Michael had a Sega Master System I.And a lot of games.I remember going to his house almost every day during summer playing Alex Kidd,Rampage,Shinobi,Double Dragon and many many other games. Then Gameboy came out and everyone loved it.I had a Gameboy,my friends had Gameboys I only saw one Game Gear(meaning saw just one guy having one)in my life. Then me and my friend Michael moved on to SNES.Those were the days.Literally those were the days.I was round 14...going to high school playing Donkey Kong, then I saw in a local gaming TV program(Sevi wouldn't know it anyway,it was a show from Thessaloniki )a presenation of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. And I bought it.And I loved it.And I spent hours playing it. But I don't want to get off-topic so the question remains: Nintendo or Sega? For all of you who grew up in the late 80s early 90s this is a good question I think.
