dude first of all in the books it doesnt tell you what weapon sauron used or if he used one at all and if sauron came to fight in ROTK it would also be bad because in the books he just stays in his tower

No, it has no support in the books and it never was used in the final cuts of the films.

Lol, wow, i was thinking of making a post in hopes of UC making the Balrog sword...maybe i just might now that i see others actually like it as well, lol. In any case, i do believe that Aragorn and the Mouth of Sauron may get into a fight. Why? Well, when you see Aragorn return to the slag hill you see Anduril bloodied, tip isn't bloodied so Aragorn musta chopped the MoS's head off. In any case, i doubt the Mouth woulda just let Aragorn do that, so it's quite possible he draws his sword and dukes it out with Aragorn for a bit.

Correct me if I"m wrong but wasn't Sam carrying Sauron's sword as he and Frodo traveled through the plains of Mordor?

WOW, I would be very interested in learning where you got this idea!!!

When Sam went throught the "plains of Mordor" in RotK he was carrying two swords. One was the sword that Strider (Aragorn) gave him at weathertop in FotR and the other was Sting (Frodo's sword) which Sam took from Frodo after Frodo was stung by Shelob...I am 99.99% sure that Sam never even touched Sauron's sword...

    Hope this helps...

Sauron couldn't come out and fight in RotK even if he wanted to for he could not yet take physical form...

He definately was carrying a sword different from the ones you mentioned. On closer inspection I don't think it is the one originally intended for Sauron (it's too short). The huge pommel is what made me think it was. Here it is:

I'm pretty sure he was still carrying the ones I mentioned, for he slashes Gollum with Sting on the slopes of Mt. Doom... Now that you've posted a picture of the sword in question... I'd guess it was just a random orc blade he picked up to complete his costume...

He definitly has Sting, as you pointed out he cuts Gollum with it but in the book Sam leaves his sword behind at Cirith Ungol and it is picked up by some orcs and shown to the host at the Black Gate by the Mouth of Sauron along with the elvish cloak and mithril coat. I'd guess the same thing will happen in the Extended Edition.

In the appendices for the ROTK EE, it shows a scene that was later cut of Sauron fighting Aragorn in front of the black gate. Sauron is wielding both his mace and and the sword from those pictures.

Sauron's sword can be seen in a couple of places.
It is shown in the armory room that the Witchking is in when Gandalf is talking to Pippen about him. And it is in the unused footage of Sauron vs. Aragorn in the appendices of the EE.

At first PJ wanted Sauron to fight Aragorn (can't remember the reason, watch the extra material in ROTK EE ;) ) But then they replaced Sauron the the Olog Hai :) (so Sauron had a fight with his sword, but they replaced him with the troll cause they were short on fighting scenes with Aragorn ;) )
