thanks prabir, makes me happy
At Uni, one has a lot of time... especially in class. It feels sometimes as if... drowning on dry land...
Soooo, with all that time on my hands ins class, I sketched around a little... Tell me what you think, critique is a given on those shots because they're only sketches and neither perspective nor the tension in the hand are really right. I'd love to hear something =)
Drowning on dry land
-Pencil meets Paper-
copyrights by me, but you know that
(and taken -again- by the cell phone which is supposed to explain the red shadow thing, even though I still don't know why it is there... -.-')
Soooo, let's hear it?
The hand is a really nice sketch, Runny
It's rather dramatic - and I like that! It's set up nicely as well - good details and proportions on the hand!
I'm not sure where the colours are going, with the photos you took, though - is it just graphite, or are we to see some polychromicity in there??
It's just graphite on the back of my College block. So no white paper but brownish thingie thing
Very good pictures, I like them.
thank you as well =)
Speaking of graphite, have you been in the thread where they started rambling about graphite ladies? AA or Foin started...
I actually have no idea what graphite ladys are.
So, sorry to bother you again. But I am sooo creative when I should be studying. Not creative in itself, to clarify that, but creative concerning evasion.
So in my 30 minutes flight of that boring Uni stuff I annoyed Mister Pattinson a bit more. He held totally still, and was a good boy. So he was allowed to leave soon.
I'm babbling, I know, another evasion-tactic
Here it comes:
Copyrights are by the lad who took the original picture I guess
Paper and pencil again.
As said, it took around 30 short minutes.
Any advise, critique, help?! Would help a lot =)
P.s.: Yeah, the cell phone camera again
nice eyes! I really like the jacket as well
you took a rather difficult perspective though... I am petty sure the position of the nose is a bit too far to the left for the angle of the head - I suppose a traditional face setup doesn't quite work for this perspective.
Otherwise: pretty decent work for 30 mins!
Darn it, you're right I was wondering the whole time what was wrong with the pic, and it is, as usual, the nose.
Thank you =)
I might correct that tomorrow, as another escape from all the studying
And thanks for stopping by I appreciate it a lot !
Okay, I corrected it as far as I dared. If that makes it any better... I don't think so:
Oh yeah you've moved the nose I think these sketches are great and instantly recognisable well done ^.^ I'd like to see more of your stuff!
